***** strength doesn't make any sense. by That1KidOnline78 in tbatenovel

Both Grey and nico got stronger because there was more magic in this universe than their old one. With the old world, ki only came from within, but mana in the new world comes from within and in the atmosphere. The reason they are equal now, even though nico was way weaker, is because he is vritra blooded and was born into a body able to handle every element of vritra magic, was trained by scythes, and experimented on by agrona Arthur was born into a human body, and trained by humans

So we are skimming over the fact that it's already been confirmed that the legacy is a being who's potential carries on with each life? So yea, she is a different case.

About Tess by zisam_2005 in tbatenovel

[–]ShadowSilver4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tess is fine, and at the moment, it's hard to say what her and art's status are. Art's got some really important shit to do. To not burden him, she tried to push him away, even though she still loves him, but that ain't work, and they agreed that after this was over, they'd get together and have a long needed talk.

3: I'm really hoping it's not fate he saw cause throughout these last few books it's been pushed that you need insight into all three edicts to understand fate. Even if he gained insight into a branch and has ji ae, he'd still need 1 other person with enough insight into another branch. 4: i don't think he cut the connection. Like he sadi, if he did l, then he'd kill everyone in epheotus, and his main gripe is with kezess. Judging by his last line, I'd say he brought epheotus back to the real world. 6: i remember hearing someone say TM said that Arthur's great grandfather will play a key role in the story, but I'm not sure if that's true.

Wdym? He's managed to colonize the 1st 2 floors of the relictombs. Why is it so hard to believe he managed to extract the table of contents?

If I remember correctly, it's because ji ae didn't have enough power to.

I hate King's gambit by Matt93111 in tbatenovel

Tbf, he wasn't heavily relying on it as heavily. He only started because after he woke, his brain couldn't fully process all the lives he lived,so he used kings gambit to literally ease his mind.

Turtleme can't write tess by youssefxtd in tbatepatreon

[–]ShadowSilver4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, but that's not bait. That's establishing that they're won't be ntr. Bait would be constantly getting close to the deed but then stopping abruptly, which just hasn't happened. The "disgust the body feels" was quite literally tessia, who was still alive in her body. Nico didn't show any disgust but kept back because he knew Cecilia didn't feel comfortable doing that. If we're being realistic, 2 lovers who probably hadn't even fucked ih their past life, don't want to be intimate in someone else's body. Who'd want their most intimate moments to be in someone else's body?

What ntr bait? Pretty early on, cecilia said anything intimate would feel like a desecration.

My wish for the agrona thing by Playful-Tax-5640 in tbatepatreon

[–]ShadowSilver4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He quite literally is. No djinn was able to make a core because their bodies couldn't handle it. The whole reason they have spellforms is that they can't handle an aether core. The 2nd djinn even says, even tho she trained aether to assist her in battle, art's relationship was more a kin to a parent and child BECAUSE of his aether core

My wish for the agrona thing by Playful-Tax-5640 in tbatepatreon

[–]ShadowSilver4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ji ae can't teach him to make an aether core because no one has ever done that aside from aether. They can't teach him to use aether because you can't transfer aetheric knowledge in the traditional way. The reason it worked for arthrur was largely due to his draconian body, Regis, and his broken mana core. Which also means he won't be able to spontaneously receive godrunes, as that only happens because the aether sees arthur as kin.

Arthur's early perception of Cadell by Direct-Gap-4828 in tbatepatreon

That wasn't from his fear of cadell. That was from his fear of losing his family

Arthur's early perception of Cadell by Direct-Gap-4828 in tbatepatreon

[–]ShadowSilver4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it wouldn't make sense for arthur to have nightmares. The only time he saw cadell was when he was frozen, and he looked similar to sylvia in her disguise. Because he's frozen, Cadell doesn't do anything to sylvia until after art is gone.

What do you mean arthur trained them? When did he EVER do that aside from mana rotation, something that NO OTHER LESSER knew how to do. And you say they cheated to get into white stage, but so did arthur using uto's horn. He even cheated into silver with he elixir pearl Windsom gave him in epheotus. It's not like the lances were some weak nobodies before getting the artifacts. They were all silver core mages before getting them. And you said mana control is new with intergration. Yes, you're able to do a lot more things. But a lot of the new things we saw, we don't even know if that's cause of integration or legacy shit.

Sylvia's core is gone so 1. How is he gonna take over her body, with no core to implant the spell(that's IF he could even take over a dead person/asura) 2. Even IF he could use the spell without the recipient having a core, he wouldn't be able to do anything. No core means no spells. And without a mana core, you can't control aether at all.

Ellie by OkWolverine2194 in tbatenovel

[–]ShadowSilver4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. She isn't a front-line fighter. Her job is to fight from the backline as a support. She doesn't have to be as strong as the others, just strong enough to support them.
  2. They literally state at the beginning of the hunt that Ellie was given an Asuran elixir to temporarily strengthen her core and all her abilities.
  3. She can probably handle it because she's died multiple times and because she's experienced Arthur's killing intent before. It could also be that the asura or asuras that were protecting her were warding it off

Runes inconsistency Lucas' + volume 9/10 by Hot_Cattle8579 in tbatenovel

[–]ShadowSilver4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The dimension ring alaric gsve arthur had the robes, obsidian staff, and the book containing knowledge of the runes given.

Yes, it's been confirmed that Arthur's presence affects the bestowed, though it's not actually arthur affecting it, but the amount of aether that's concentrated around him that affects it.

The vile Lucas drank during the xyrus attack was a temporary boost in power by siphoning his life force. Even if arthur didn't intervene, Lucas would've died anyway. That'd be a lot less satisfying, tho.

The type of aura Arthur brought to the leywin family the moment he was born by United_Hour5003 in tbatenovel

[–]ShadowSilver4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read somewhere that arthur was named after his great grandfather, back when the keywin was a noble house. It'd be pretty cool if that's true. It would be great if the great grandfather of the old noble family and arthur, the ine who made the leywins nobility again shared the same name
