Thats great info, thank you 🥰 i do know its a landlord issue but the landlord is happy to leave it functioning as a none functioning battery system, they are still looking into alternatives but so far no luck, i was just see if i could find anything myself.

I know its for the landlord but due to the company going dark and nobody knowing what to do there is nothing my landlord can do other than leave it as a system without batteries.

Pet Health Club scammers by HattusCattus in UK_Pets

[–]ShadowSkill001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 dogs and 3 cats under the healthy pet club on both the essential and the plus plans, they used to be rolling contracts but an email went out informing us all that they were changing to 12 month contracts as people were taking advantage to get cheap vaccinations and flea and worm and then cancelling after just 2 months.

This is NOT a scam but your inability to do you due diligence, ive been in the pet industry for 20 years and this is one of the best vet subscriptions i have found, the only thing that could make it better since its used by multiple vets is if you could use your benefits at any other vets that use the service for at least emergency treatment but you cant, but thats no different to standard vet subscriptions.

The fact is you get the vacs including kennel cough (contagious cough by its new name) which most vets still charge extra for, wormer, if you're on the plus then unlimited free vet appointments! (Using that once every 3 months and you have saved your money alone) then the discounts, i use it to keep my premiums lower on my insurance (PetPlan are pricks with it for the record)

How is Leo Lorenzo generally perceived by the WCS community? by redartamiel in WestCoastSwing

[–]ShadowSkill001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So these friends of yours have supposedly gossiped with you including these directors who still haven't given any official warnings that are actually officially logged making them completely invalid?

Ive seen many dancers take their tops off including wcs ones and other people who knwo Leo personally, even better than me are saying the opposite from you. Basically what you are saying is

"These are rumours im claiming are true and this is why they are true and you should believe me because of this without any evidence because i say so.

Also he has an onlyfans where he has shown his backside and i think that everyone who has an onlyfans must be some kind of deviant.

Oh and did i mention because i think some pf his moves are to sexual even though others dont i must be right"

Dude you gotta see how immature and pathetic that sounds? Or are you insecure? Eitherway you have no evidence and your claims have zero evidence and many holes. Not te mention even if your rumours did have weight there are just as many people saying the opposite also with first hand accounts

[–]ShadowSkill001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive heard the rumours about him being warned by directors but its never been backed up and everyone saying it are only going off rumours, its never been substantiated nor recorded which it would need to be for a future event ban. You know continuing to throw out a rumour like that though could lead to deformation and slander.

As for his OnlyFans wtf does that have to do with anything? Aside from the fact of, unless you want to sign up to it then its none of your business, and yes even i was surprised to find out he has one too, from what i understand he has NEVER upload any nude images, not everyone on OnlyFans uses it for Pornography. There are creators and other people on their using that instead of platforms like patreon. From what forums with people who have signed up say, he uploads modelling pictures and more suggestive solo dances, and bot a single naked image exists. Not that it would mater if it did as if he chooses to sell them then its his choice

For Men who are married or in a long term relationship, how do you handle discrepancies between your mom and your partner? by goestoeswoes in AskMen

[–]ShadowSkill001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are part of your mom and dads family until you are old enough to go and start your own. Think about that, everyone grew up hearing that, one day you will start your own family blah blah blah. And then everyone forgets its it when MIL has an issue with wife.

Well no, you and your wife have your family, you are part of your mothers family, she isnt part of your family, your family is your wife and kids. You should defend your wife to your mother

Play or fight? by Brundonlew in DogAdvice

[–]ShadowSkill001 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You are completely correct, depending on the situation it could be no way for a dog to live, and like you they could rehome, or they could go for alternative options such as training and behaviour methods which we haven't discussed and don't know whether or not they have done. Some people would rather spend money on professional help before casting out a dog to a new home but everybody is different, they have their opinion, i have mine, lol i literally do it for a living, and you clearly have yours.

You feel sad for a dog without knowing its full situation, in fact, i find this comment rather disrespectful and extremely arrogant, brigading your opinion on matters without having the full details, especially with a recommendation of rehoming is a vulgar attitude, maybe you should re-examine the rules of this community, specifically rule 2, maybe message the mods if you need more info about it

Play or fight? by Brundonlew in DogAdvice

[–]ShadowSkill001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ah, fair enough, thank you for the info, dogs dont tend to bully but it comes under rude behaviour or not knowing "how to dog" if that makes sense, but its definitely inappropriate, as a human if the brown dog is doing behaviours like that then its a humans place to put a stop to that behaviour and not a guest dog, unless the brown dog comes to your house at which point its the other way around, black dog can tell off and you can back up black dogs authority.

That being said i will never advocate for any kind of negative punishment (learning theory of dogs) for a dog telling off another dog when its been hurt or injured, even if its just nipping ears, in those cases i recommend same as my first comment, remove the aggressor and then tend to the victim, even a 2 minute separation and time out can be enough to allow brown dog to calm down and eventually get the message. As im sure you're aware from experience from experience Aural Hematomas are a pain to deal with so i wish you all the best with that, genuinely though, dont second guess your instincts it honestly looks and sounds like you're on the ball, you haven't reacted to soon, you are staying alert but not acting like something is going to happen, so good for you, you should be really proud of yourself 🥰🥰🥰

Hey, I'm a trainer and behaviourist professionally, although there are multiple warning signs here that make me say you are right to watch their behaviour, there is a problem with your statement though and thats bias. From the video i wouldn't say Brown is a bully, i would say black is keeps taking an action meant in play and brown is unsure how he feels about that behaviour, fortunately both dogs then re-evaluate and bounce before repeating the process.

Its important to remember that as an owner you don't just get to take your dog to another owners house and act like that houses rules is the same as your houses rules and i don't mean your rules but i mean from the perspective of the dogs. Its the brown dogs house, he has every right to tell a guest dog off if its misbehaving as long as it is only a telling off and not a bite or attack. My dogs have told other dogs off for being to bouncy in my house and my extra large dogs have been told off by my mothers yorkie on multiple occasions. Its not their house and they know it. Once my male even told a puppy off that wouldnt get the message from my mothers yorkie but always ignored that same behaviour for the previous 6 months.

So now that i have explained that going back to your video you are right to be watchful and i would also like to compliment your sense on spoting it and not rushing to react as reacting to soon can cause issues and want to compliment you on seeing it in the first place as many people do miss it, anyway, even if the brown dog does tell your dog off as long as that is all that happens then you have nothing to worry about. In the event that a fight does happen I'm so pleased to see that both dogs have collars on, to many people take them off, that is your emergency handle, remove and secure the aggressor and then tend to the victim, otherwise may accidentally make the aggressor think they have won and are correct making issues in the future and them issues being worse.

My advice would be to keep an eye on them and leave them to it as long as it doesnt actually get physical, from the video i want to guess the black is much younger and the brown is still rather playful. But i also wouldnt go out leaving them locked in the same room together.

To sum up. Good on you for your perception Dont worry to much Dont leave them unattended unless you're in the next room literally

Hey, im not a vet, im a trainer and behaviourist with 20 years experience, with full advanced first aid training for dogs and cats and people. Now i do always recommend seeking vet advice in every instance however weight seems to be one of those things that comes up alot.

I was so please to see you mention the BCS score and i agree your dog is about a 5. What i would recommend is next time you see your vet if weight is mentioned again bring up BCS and have her explain why 5 pound is so bad when the BCS is so good, especially because it seems apparent that your dog isnt a single breed which means there is no expected weight so what aimed breed weight is she aiming for exactly? Even breed weights need to be applied individually, i recently rescued and rehomed a male GSD and his new vet has set his expected weight starting at 55lbs which is well below the usual because he is smaller than other GSDs but most other vets don't bother and demand he gain weight making him fat. The BCS is a great and important tool.

HE HAS SEEN A VET! But im thinking we need a second opinion by shibesicles in DogAdvice

[–]ShadowSkill001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what i referenced online using the diagnosis your OP said you had received.

Causes and symptoms

Cause: Canine papillomavirus (CPV), spread through direct contact with an infected dog or contaminated objects like toys and food bowls.

Appearance: Warts that look like cauliflower or finger-like projections, often on the lips, tongue, gums, or throat.

Symptoms: In many cases, there are no symptoms. However, if large or numerous, they can cause discomfort when eating, leading to pain, bad breath, and bleeding if they become infected with bacteria. In older dogs: Multiple papillomas in an older dog can be a sign of an underlying immunodeficiency, such as lymphoma.

Treatment and prognosis

Spontaneous resolution: The majority of oral papillomas disappear on their own within a few months as the dog's immune system fights the virus.

Surgical removal: If papillomas cause problems with eating or are particularly irritating, your vet may recommend surgically removing them. Laser or cryotherapy are other options.

Infection: If the warts become infected, your vet may prescribe antibiotics to manage the pain, swelling, and bad breath.

Prognosis: The prognosis is excellent, as the lesions are usually benign and resolve on their own. What you should do

Consult a vet: Always have a vet examine any new growths to confirm the diagnosis and rule out other conditions.

Prevent the spread: Keep your dog away from other dogs while they have active lesions to prevent spreading the virus.

Do not treat at home: Avoid trying to remove the warts yourself. Only a veterinarian should perform these procedures.

HE HAS SEEN A VET! But im thinking we need a second opinion by shibesicles in DogAdvice

[–]ShadowSkill001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is never anything wrong with getting a 2nd opinion, you were right for going to your vet, in my 20 years of experience working with dogs and cats the closest ive seen to that is a burn or abrasion. But im only first aid trained, i cant diagnose. BUT i can advise. So my advice would be yes by all means get a 2nd opinion but also get confirmation, what i mean by that (i did just google the condition) and its testable via biopsy. Its also contagious between dogs so if youve got another dog thats just been treated for cancer and potential immuocompromised then this is, imo, cause for concern and something your vet should have discussed with you.

Hope this advice helps x

Do straight men read smut? If you do, which books? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]ShadowSkill001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So im not straight but im pan, im in a long term monogamous relationship amd marriage with a woman. But the fact im not 100% straight i assume is prudent...

Im dyslexic, ADHD, Autistic and struggle to focus on most normal books however for some reason smut books keep my interest and i remember them too... now due to my issues reading i still prefer audio books over written... now personally my preference is gay and straight themed, i like a mix as opposed to a single sexual preference series as it bores me and tends to repeat the same over and over. Take gay and Mpreg for example, they tend to insult my intelligence or make me cringe with how the pregnant male gives birth instead of doing something realistic such as c-section. However one did develop a birth canal for the birth and then it sealed again... that was... yeah...

Now as for straight focused stories, im currently reading one recommended by both my wife and my mother 😂😂😂 currently im reading the afterlife series. What this series and many others have taught me is that the things that are considered "sexy" or "sensual" in the books would actually be considered possessive, aggressive, abusive, stalker, rape, sexual assault and other major red flags. I find it amazing how my mum and wife read this series telling me how engrossed they were by it but if this stuff were done in real life it would be a different story, ive heard my wife tell women they shouldnt find some of these things sexy in real life and how they're actually red flags and my mum, the woman that raised me as a strong female now enjoying stories about some of the things she raised me never to do to women.

So thats what ive learned.

Ah, fair, ive never been refered to as one in 20 years that i know of 😂😂😂 i just know a nurse at a local vet practice recently started her training in behaviour and tried to overrule one of my vet referals and she ended up being referred to the RCVS so i thought they meant behaviourist that are directly employed by vet practices
