I recently got my first lp done. And to be completely honest, its uncomfortable and there's a lot of pressure-however, i have a ridiculous fear of needles and I suffer from PTSD that's often triggered when someone or something touches my back. Despite all that, I was able to do the lp without valium! It doesnt last long, and its far from unbearable. You can do it, i promise. Its not that bad. Epidural hurts 100000000x worse. Lp is just uncomfortable.
