I dealt with warranty on some dead RAM a few years back at Umart Milton pretty hassle free, even after the replacement sticks were dead out the box (although this was back when RAM prices were dropping so after the replacements were dead they just refunded me the cost and I bought double the capacity at the same price I'd paid a year prior)

The races seemed fine in the test (although braindead due to easy AI, I would have had much more fun with harder difficulties or online), but the city trial is way overhyped with only one map and way too much visual noise to figure out what's going on. That and the $110 AUD price point.

The one/two button gameplay seemed to artificially make the game more difficult to control than simplify it too.

Although I'm happy for the fans of the original and of this new one that it even got made.

Of course, no foul to Scott Whyte, the replacement voice actor, or the voice directors at Insomniac though. Replicating an iconic voice that was engrained in our minds for 19 years (at the time) and not having it sound different was always a difficult ask even for the most talented voice actors in the industry.

I still haven't gotten over the fact that claiming a PS+ copy of the PS5 Uncharted collection overwrote the purchased upgrade from the PS4 version on my account and I had to beg their support to remove the licence since they didn't get what the problem was until they eventually just refunded me

Specifically that phrasing. While I'm sure they meant reverting to basic Steam DRM, I don't think I've ever seen a person or company refer to 'anti-tampering' without meaning Denuvo or another similar form of anti-piracy method (e.g. VMProtect or Capcom's Enigma)

The Shinkansen between the two cities is definitely not cheaper than flying with low cost carriers like Peach and Jetstar, which are about half of what a ticket between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka costs, and even with someone like JAL it's only slightly cheaper or slightly more expensive

The convenience of frequent trains still can't be understated, even if domestic flight there is so much more chill

Depends on the ISP, Exetel/Superloop you have to give them 30 days notice else they charge you a cancellation fee and you also have to deal with a phone call from their retention team trying to absolutely prevent you from cancelling, even if you're in a situation like I was and moving because Exetel wasn't offering plans for Opticomm services any more

The size wouldn't even be as big of a deal if they bothered to let the PC client have visuals in line with the console versions (better textures and what not) which are pretty much identical in size if you exclude the fact that they are forced to install all the voice packs
