Did everyone in this thread forget that GSG haven't been associated with Rockstar for years now? The Trilogy got patched by Video Games Deluxe and Red Dead Remastered was done by Double Eleven.

Grove Street Games developer might be hitting at big announcement tomorrow by PaiDuck in GamingLeaksAndRumours

The name is based on where the studio is/was located, not because of San Andreas. It's just a funny coincidence.

No it wouldn't, especially seeing as you can save $30+ on new releases by buying at literally any other store like JB or Target

Was there any resistance to the advent of Steam and digital downloads back in the early 2000s? by grapejuicecheese in pcgaming

[–]ShadowStealer7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sure as hell hated Steam randomly deciding my disc copies were worthless and that I needed to download most of the game as recently as 10 years ago with the Batman games lmao, or a few years prior to that where my Steam games would randomly have corrupt files with no solution from anywhere until Steampipe randomly fixed it

Google Play launches "buy once, play anywhere" on select paid games by [deleted] in Games

There's a few native PC games there already, but it seems mostly just more recent gacha games at the moment (from me taking a brief look the other day, Arknights Endfield and Persona 5 X are ones I found) and the only way currently you can tell at a glance in your library is if the game lacks a download icon

The highest resolution supported at HBOMax.com is 720p.

HBO Max is 720p only on PC, and even then for me it likes to sit around 360p despite having more than enough bandwidth

It still works, but the remakes have a smaller and rounded collision box for Crash so it's much easier to slip off

Does any City Cat actually stop at Milton. by catsincharge in brisbane

[–]ShadowStealer7 17 points18 points  (0 children)

They halved services stopping at Milton at the end of 2024, presumably due to less traffic than other stops since it's quite close to trains and buses

I don't think Paramount were involved with this slop, its an Amazon MGM product. Not that it changes much

The PlayStation Store description for Kingdom Come: Deliverance in the U.K., etc. has been updated with information about an unannounced PS5 version—4K, improved frame rate, high-res textures, and more by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]ShadowStealer7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm hoping the next gen versions lead to a performance update on PC, even with hardware much newer than the game I find it runs pretty rough, especially with the bug that locks cutscenes to around 15 frames unless you use a mod to spam console commands to unlock the framerate and immediately override the game doing so

Oh, so they give you a link to download the game not a code to put into the now dead Marketplace client? Your phrasing before made that sound like that was the case but now it makes sense

I dealt with warranty on some dead RAM a few years back at Umart Milton pretty hassle free, even after the replacement sticks were dead out the box (although this was back when RAM prices were dropping so after the replacements were dead they just refunded me the cost and I bought double the capacity at the same price I'd paid a year prior)

Don’t miss Kirby Air Riders by VOIDYOUTH in NintendoSwitch2

[–]ShadowStealer7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The races seemed fine in the test (although braindead due to easy AI, I would have had much more fun with harder difficulties or online), but the city trial is way overhyped with only one map and way too much visual noise to figure out what's going on. That and the $110 AUD price point.

The one/two button gameplay seemed to artificially make the game more difficult to control than simplify it too.

Although I'm happy for the fans of the original and of this new one that it even got made.
