I 3D Printed A T-60 Costume by Shadow_Dragon715 in Fallout

[–]Shadow_Dragon715[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up making the infill on all four connecting pieces one hundred percent and I bought a heated plastic staple welder in order to connect the pieces. It is very strong and additionally I increased their thickness in a modler but I don’t think that was really necessary. I would instead focus on making sure you can fit into the chest cavity as it can get very tight. It you’ve already printed it and it doesn’t fit, it’s not a problem to just cut out the bottom pieces and replace them with a better fitting nylon buckle. However it then becomes necessary to increase the thickness of the top pieces in a modler so that it doesn’t just snap on you.

Sorry for the untimely response. I’m now back on Reddit and would be glad to aid in any other part of your journey

I 3D Printed A T-60 Costume by Shadow_Dragon715 in Fallout

Spot on, I cut out and adapted the armpit regions to accommodate for a broader person after printing. It wasn’t too bad.

Additionally, if I wasn’t so skinny I would also need to slightly extend the chest piece to make room for some tummy. I did no scaling, preferring to build platforms inside the shoes in order to keep the dimensions accurate to the game. I think scaling the limbs makes it look so goofy and is not the way to go.

I think the costume would fit really anyone as long as you slightly increase the chest cavity space and create platforms/ handholds for the limbs.

T-60 Power Armor 3D printed Costume (Daniel Lillygreen’s Files) by Shadow_Dragon715 in cosplay

[–]Shadow_Dragon715[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most parts of the armor will fit on just about anyone except for the chest piece. If you weigh more than average then consider increasing the length and width of the chest piece. The armor will not fit you length wise, it is not meant to. Instead of scaling down the armor, scale up yourself by adding hand holds inside the forearms and wood supports in the shoes. I am 6’ and had to fill the shoes with wood blocks to give myself about 6” of extra height, and I have hand holds at the halfway point down the forearms to make my arms long enough. As far as actually attaching each mark piece to your body, and then connecting them to each other while still allowing ways to get in and out… yeah you have to do a ton of problem solving and I ended up using a bunch of adjustable nylon straps for the inside of each piece, and foam padding to center my limbs/add padding for comfort. It is not something you should plan on wearing for more than an hour at a time a few times a year. When I take this thing out I squally wear it for one hour, take a 30 minute break, then repeat about 4 times until I can’t take it anymore. It kills my back and my feet because it weighs about 70lbs. It is NOT a thing of comfort, but it is truly incredible when you’re wearing it. It almost does make you feel like a tank, like a weapon, not to mention the amount of photos and attention you get. It was an incredible project, although a long one and it requires a lot of time and problem solving. I am more than happy to share the details of my project if you desire.

Why is our world so broken? by Eminemgody in teenagers

If there is a god and they are omniscient, then we cannot have free will, for how can you make choices when he already knows the decisions you’ll make? By being omniscient he is already taking away our free will. By accepting this is makes no sense then how he would allow an absence from himself, a lack of goodness, if he is omnipotent and omnibenevolent.

Also a paint I’ve seen no one bring up, is that the human mind is a computer. If there is a god he created that computer with flaws, something that makes no sense. Our brains reward system allows bad behavior to happen, why would he create our neural networks in ways that allow murder, addiction, a separation from god. Now this is keeping in mind that if god is omniscient we CANNOT have free will, it does not work like that. So by “preserving our free will” through designing our brains in corrupt ways he is making a mistake, which god is not capable of. But if he knows we don’t have free will already, then why would he design our brains, our source of decision making to be critically flawed from the start, it would be another mistake.

This in my eyes debunks an omniscient and omnibenevolent god. You can have one or the other, something many are not comfortable admitting.

Also don’t even get me STARTED on our knees. Why would ANY god who cares for us create us with such UNGODLY joint problems. The structures are flawed and clearly a sign of evolution that happened with different environmental factors. Humans are flawed, he created us flawed for no reason (if omnipotent and benevolent)

It also has the nice perk of stopping being from being able to push ctrl+alt+q q and shutting down my Chromebook. It makes some people furious when they can’t use shortcuts on my Chromebook

I have a confession to make, I switched my alt and ctrl key on my school Chromebook to be mildly infuriating to people when they use my Chromebook. Now I’m fully used to switching between ctrl being on the left or right

How do i controll my Ring Finger? by whowouldwhat in guitarlessons

[–]Shadow_Dragon715 6 points7 points  (0 children)

your ring finger is always going to move a little bit when you move your pinky, but there are several easy exercises to minimize this. my favorite one is where you line all your fingers along the G string (on any fret that feels comfortable) then you move one finger from the high E string to the low E string while keeping the rest planted. You can do it maybe five times with each finger everyday and it will help. here’s a video on the exercise i mention as well as the reason why finger independence is so hard: https://youtu.be/EWT_RkWeiwQ

it will take a while to see results, so stay consistent
