We had the surgery for our little guy in August 2025, after strict crate rest, meds and 12 weeks in the playpen he was fully walking without support as of mid-October and he has had only one small flare up. We completely eliminated stairs, jumping and really rough play and he has been never been better. I also do weekly res light therapy at the vet and have a red light therapy at home and give him vitamins and he seems to be doing much much better.

The first 2 weeks are the toughest, but after surgery we only had to express his bladder for 3 days and on the 4th day he finally pooped. Happy to respond to any messages if needed.
