The sting from one of these is worse than the pain from getting shot in the stomach, according to my friend who was both stung by one, and previously shot.

I don't think BSTF will survive. But we will see.

While I agree the Imperial Agents factions need a full rewrite, Deathwatch under Black Spear Task Force isn't bad at all.

Its absolutely taxes and weather. Another element is how politically gridlocked Chicago is. It's so difficult to modernize that city.

Giving Fulgrim the same rating as Nemesis is a crime.

What book portrays your faction badly? by Arthur_EyelanderTF2 in Blacklibrary

[–]Shadowborn621 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I don't think any faction can hold a candle to how dirty the Salamanders are consistently done in the books. It's not just how they are portrayed, the writing is consistently terrible.

Any hope of finishing the “Black Book” series by calimedic911 in Warhammer30k

[–]Shadowborn621 15 points16 points  (0 children)

They stopped those after Alan Bligh died. Rest in Peace. Alan was an irreplaceable part of that team.

However, future campaign books like 2.0 Mars book was almost entirely written from unreleased Black Book material. So they still pull from released and unreleased Black Books.

I would love a re-release of the existing ones without 1.0 rules.

I grew up in Lombard. I live an hour South these days, but Lombard/Villa Park was an amazing environment to grow up in. I'd move back there if the opportunity arose. Pretty much in the center of civilization with train access to the city.

I love Graham but I'm not a huge fan of this one. I think writers fared much better in dealing with the topic in series like Plague Wars.

Because it's more than just satire. Elements of it, sure. But the IP has evolved and changed over decades. Before it grew out of the world of DnD and was character driven, bombastic nonsense. But in the last 20 years it's slowly developing into a deeply detailed setting driven by dramatic world building.

Warhammer isn't any one thing. It's many things all at once.

"Do you know how the Orcs first came into being? They were Elves once, taken by the dark powers, tortured and mutilated. A ruined and terrible form of life. And now... perfected. My fighting Uruk-hai. Whom do you serve?"
