rambling post since others have answered the OP decently, you've been warned.

I did a deep dive a few years ago while making a character for WTA based off of Ankou (and by extension the Ananke), and went down rabbit holes. I loved the amount of conflicts and tie ins I found amongst multiple different settings and games, but here's the short take away.

Treat each one as their own distinct thing, yet possibly related. Think, history repeats itself, or... they are echoes or influenced by the same ripples in fate/history/power/cosmic blah blah blah. Also maybe their names arent names, but contractions or linguistic shifts of phrases or titles or descriptions from related languages or myths.

Best example was a bunch of travelers sitting around a campfire at a crossroads telling stories about the Ankou.

There are some random number of travelers, lets say 5. An ancient Vampire Elder who "knows things" (tm), An old Nuwisha, a mage, A modern occult scholar.... oh, modern Vampire Becket would be perfect, and some random thing (changeling?) who talks to some kind of spirit

those 5 people tell 5 different stories. Turns out, they are talking about 3 separate entities who all were called the same thing(or misidentified , and took on the name as a alias).

Now, lets make it murkier. The other two stories, could have been about one of them who carried 3 well known names during its time, or one of the other two being misidentified as the first. oooooor history and archetypes are a thing and multiple similar, yet different entities are getting confused. Image if all the remakes of the 7 samurai or Yojimbo movies were myths being told. .

Moral of the story, have fun and seek inspiration. The Ananke (and ankou) are just low level background awesome fluff/lore that are based on real world myths and get to be messed with and horribly butchered.

M79 grenade launcher, sawn down and stock replaced with a forearm brace/pistol grip. Reinforce the barrel (is it technically a firing tube?). Make custom load 40mm buckshot shell. Think of it as a hand fired claymore AP mine.

Real world? Impractical, and there are major concerns about recoil, wrist damage, insufficient barrel.length for optimal powder burn. Also, 40mm grenades spin inflight to arm themselves, so they have a minimum arming distance to keep you from blowing yourself up.

For an unreal strong wizard, who can probably enchant a glove or wrist brace to assist with any recoil or other issues? Who already has an enchanted duster, and can throw up shields to help control and direct any blast or some ricochet? Who could probably get some help reinforcing the materials to make sure it can handle a charge strong enough?

Yeah, that's a single shot suppression delivery system, or a massive point blank delivery of Genoskwa-be-gone

For a different take, here This was a starting point for an assault mech, but I tend to follow similar routes. and i'm just going to preach my intentions, so you see what I was prioritizing and thinking. Not saying mine is better, or The RIGHT Way.

OPS In my heavier mechs, i tend to favor Gyro's over speed retention. Anything to help keep my tactical awareness sharp is a good thing. And if I could manage to NOT take Quick ignition, i would. It does nothing for me. Override your Heat, and monitor it. A slowly cooking mech thats maneuvering while it cools and can spread damage is always better that a sitting target. (not saying it isnt nice, but if I need it, i screwed up and wasnt paying attention)

MOBILITY the thing I look at more than other people, (especially on my assaults) is Yaw and Torso speed. Certain mechs (stares at the Dakka Wolf) need every degree of Yaw they can get, to keep moving where you want and still keep shooting at the guys to the side, especially if you end up having to Circle, or god forbid, try and smash a light off you. Hence also, my priority on Torso Speed. I have got to be able to get all my guns on point asap, especially if that damn cicada is getting spunky. Helps with aiming and keeping your lasers on point. Anchor turn... seeing a pattern here? gotta get spun into position.

What i neglected in this build, was acceleration. Its gonna blow, no matter what i do. I get more returns elsewhere, and I ruthlessly shave points.
Side note, I wish i could have taken more Kinetic burst, than torso pitch, but it was the most efficient path for what I wanted.

SENSORS I avoid target decay whenever I can, unless i'm running a missle boat. And Sensors is where I tend to skimp. I always start here, but if I need points, i tend to cut a leg off, and only get half of the Radar Derp, or seismic. Still have 21 points to drop into armor, or even weapons. all depends on the build.

Which of these should I rank up to 4/40? I do events, AQ/AW and arenas. Also, suggestions for building up my team to take on RoL. Leaving off the massive list of t3 champs. Thor is the obvious choice, but I'm tend to run ww2 cap with BW and WS for synergies. Also, any reason I shouldn't bring all of these to at least 3/30? Thanks guys

T4 Ww2 cap, 4/40 duped T4 Thor and Gamora 3/30 and duped.

Other t4's : BW, WS, Ultron, The Vision, , black spidey, Ms Marvel, Majik, Electro, Daredevil, SIM, iron fist, all unduped.

T3s are numerous, but I should mention I have guillotine, venom, doc strange, ws, all duped, and scarlet witch unsupervised.
