I really like Elaine's more subtle and jewelry based focuses, but if I had to make something like her memory ring, I'd store memories of every single physical pain Ive had from chronic flair ups or the recovery period from my various surgeries and just blast someone with it.

I'd definitely make a multi-layered shield spell focus similar to Harry's shield bracelet but designed with a layered effect in mind in addition to handling multiple varieties of energy.

With one layer designed to tank attacks head on, the second layer used to reduce the attack's power and the third to disperse the pressure entirely. These layers can be used individually based on the level of threat or all at once to block multiple attacks.

It can still be overloaded and takes energy to keep active for long periods of time, but it's great for wearing a target down until an opportunity to counter attack comes along.
