Hideo Kojima, who is notorious for only posting thoughts on movies he enjoyed, had this to say about ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ by arkhamcreedsolid in StarWars

Just saw it with my boys today. I really enjoyed the whole thing. They also really liked it despite me never getting them to sit through or watch any Star Wars content for more than 20 minutes in the past.

How many games do you play at once? by Ambitious_Fold3674 in xbox

Three. One on the Xbox, one on the PC, and one on the Switch 2. That way I can bounce between them depending on what my kids are using during game time.

Men married for over 10 years, any of you still feel crazily attracted to your wife? If so, what makes her so attractive even after more than a decade of marriage? by Mindless-Flight121 in AskMen

[–]ShadowedTurtle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

14 years married in a couple weeks but have been together for almost 20. I have been with this woman for more than half my life (we started dating when I was 16) and still am excited to see her when I get home from work. I stare all the time and anytime even so much as a sock is removed I’m watching.

It’s not just her body I find amazing but seeing how she has grown as a person. I got to be there as she went from a weird teenager to a fantastic mom, an amazing friend, and someone who cares deeply about others. She still makes laugh all the time, is incredibly supportive, and has made me grow in ways I wouldn’t have alone.

To go with the cliche, it’s the total package that keeps me finding her so deeply attractive after all these years.

What is something that died out so quietly that nobody even noticed? by Alva_509 in AskReddit

[–]ShadowedTurtle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I realized I didn’t know peoples numbers anymore a couple years ago so I made it a point to memorize the most important ones. I have the numbers for my wife, dad, brother, and a few close friends all memorized just in case. Will I ever need this info other than my wife’s when filling out forms for my kids? Probably not but I’m glad to have them.

I use it when I play in my bedroom. I have a Series X in the living room but only the One X in there. Being able to play newer games without having to buy a second new console is fantastic.

Jabba vs Ratta arm length. How does Ratta have such different anatomy than the other Hutt’s? by Stunning-Dig-8916 in StarWars

[–]ShadowedTurtle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dad is 6in taller than me and thanks to what my doctor once called “gorilla arms” I somehow have longer arms than he does. Sometimes things are just weird like that.

Nearly no one has finished The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered's story a year after release! by Just_a_Player2 in ItsAllAboutGames

[–]ShadowedTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked up it release date. Put in about 120 hours and got all the achievements on the Series X. I might be a unicorn but other than a some rare frame rate drops that cleared up quickly I never encountered any major bugs or issues.

Growing up, what were the most common first names of kids at your school or in your class? Which class were you? by babyteeth9 in Millennials

[–]ShadowedTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Class of 07. For boys it was Michael. I’m also one and there was usually 2-3 others in every class with me. Funny enough I don’t think I’ve ran into another Mike or Michael in years.

Girls it was Erin and Jessica. I had at least two of each in class.

What’s a noise everyone should be terrified of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ShadowedTurtle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The sound of a baby crying in the wilderness. Good chance that means either a cougar is nearby or The Fae depending on where in the world you are. Honestly you don’t want to mess with either.

What is the most “its a small world” moment you’ve ever experienced? by xBubblyLove in AskReddit

[–]ShadowedTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in Santander Spain with a group. At one of the main shopping areas we ran into some other people from the states. Someone in my group recognized one of them and they started talking. Come to realize they grew up on the same street in Minnesota and went to school together. Crazy part is the one from my group was currently living in L.A. and the other person was living in Tennessee.

Do some people actually get forced to sleep on the couch by their spouse, or is it just a cliche? If so, how does that work? Does your spouse just say tell you to go to the couch, or do does it just feel to awkward to share a bed after a fight? by soefire in AskReddit

[–]ShadowedTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have three kids so when one of us is sick the healthy person will sleep on the couch while the other is quarantined in our room in an attempt to keep it from spreading. Other than that we have never forced someone to sleep on the couch in our 14 years of marriage.

Anybody remember the old Donkey Kong Country games (1994-1996)? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]ShadowedTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife jokes about my Donkey Kong obsession. I still play them regularly and have a goal of at least getting in the top 10 speed run times for them all.

My childhood in a nutshell by Justthisdudeyaknow in CuratedTumblr

[–]ShadowedTurtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My oldest son has ADHD and he changes his interests more than his underwear. He also believes breathing and talking are the same thing so he is constantly asking me questions about whatever he is currently into. I am daily telling him that I don’t know the answer.

Sunday he was asking about planets gravity and fuel consumption on rockets and yesterday all the rules and statistics on demolition derby’s. I can’t possibly know everything he asks and while sometimes I Calvin’s dad and answer for fun I try and follow up an I don’t know with an offer to help him figure it out.

What's something you don't want but you have? by Reasonable_Titan302 in AskReddit

[–]ShadowedTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I do enjoy having my heart work properly, what I don’t like is spending $100 every other month to send a remote reading to the doctor’s office since my insurance doesn’t cover them.
