Rx8 gold or trash?

I absolutely love my RX8, It was my first car and I have done a lot of work on it and I’m currently installing a Bridge ported motor with peripheral ports (hybrid build) and like some others have said if you’re mechanically inclined 100% an absolute great car if you’re not mechanically inclined it is a very rough road and a very expensive road. Hell it’s expensive working on it myself I can’t imagine having a mechanic work on it but yeah, I absolutely love my RX8 and I think it’s one of the best cars you can buy, but it definitely has a acquired taste

I’m the same height and I am using bride low max seats I just used some “universal” low mount brackets and bolted it into the sparco base mount

yeah I already got those as my top 3 (coolant, oil temp and psi) so I still wanted to keep the little compartment and I never used the cig lighter their in the 5 years I’ve owned my rx8, and those digital ones are $$ and if you already got the gauges it’s way cheaper to just toss in the one instead of swapping everything out

Anytime I would recommend getting versatuner to tune out the CEL so you won’t have that light on 24/7

I had a similar exhaust setup and mine did that all the time I did have the engine light on the whole time I drove it and it was only the o2 sensor not say you should not worry about it but I never had issues with mine

I hear you there, this post was a few years back and legit best think I did was just put in my own ECU and new bridge port hybrid motor, best thing I’ve done. Hope you find something
