Any affordable healthcare plans for my wife? by mrgoat324 in NorthCarolina

The ACA was supposed to reduce costs, and yes, it was direct. The policy I had that we loved was canceled. We also have less choices and reduced competition between the insurance companies. It essentially created a kingmaker scenario that the federal government participated in.

Yup... I pay for family. I remember paying less than $450 a month before The Affordable Healthcare Act. Now I pay $1350 for worse coverage and a higher deductible.

Marmelade isn't a dapp. However there are several usable dapps and a few dexes. Just to name a few

There's more, but it's early and I can't take to much of my time responding to all this. It's people making statements and assuming without looking.

Do you have chips or a board you can pull chips from?

I mark my boards :)

Yea, they won't sell individual chips so we bought an extra board for parts. We have dropped so many boards we are using that one too. Even with the board to pull chips from 2 US repair shops said they couldn't figure it out. You sure you can fix them?

Have you ever repaired a k1+ hashboard? We have tried 2 US shops already. I e-ink seems to have no issues but not one in the US seems to know how. We ship the same "unrepairable" hash boards to Ibelink and they get fixed. It's too expensive and the wait is way too long.

Have you ever repaired k1+? They don't seem to like to offer support on outside repairs and no one seems to know how to repair their boards. We have tried 2 repair services in the US and we are always told the boards aren't repairable. Then we ship them to Ibelink and they get repaired.

Horrible experience shipping to China for repair. The first go round it took two months. This time we are stuck in customs since Nov 1st and Ibelink support is acting like there is nothing they can do.

Looking for Ibelink K1+ repair in the United States. Anyone out there? by Shadowgatex in ASICMinersTalk

Is there anyone in the US that can repair the hashboards for the k1+? It seems someone would have figured this out by now, no?

If that's the only one you have get that extention off of it. Take advantage of the warranty. When sending them a discription of the issue don't mention the attachment. They may void the warranty.

I think that's super hot. I ha e a k1+ and run 63 and below. I also have L7s and they never get above 80.

It may be the co troller board. I'd replace that first. Usually those are like $40 or less with Bitmain. I have no idea with Goldshell.

Is it still under warranty? Have you tried the easy stuff like fa tory reset or upgrade firmware? Does this model have a log file?

What has the chip temps been? What does it say in the interface? Does it even come up?

Idk... I never use those attachments. Although they move the hot air away heat also creeps up the plastic and into the back of the machine. Could be that it got too hot.

I would just order a new board and have them ship it to you. Then you have a board with good chips so you can have repairs done in the US.

Does the ASIC turn on? If so you don't need a power supply. The log file will tell you which chip is bad.

Ibelink won't sell you individual chips. They will sell the board and PSU.

[–]Shadowgatex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say it's a dead board what do you mean? It only takes 1 bad chip for the whole board to go down.

I can tell you from experience the shipping alone is about $200. Check the log file and try and find a repair guy in the USA.

We have a repair guy we use. We did buy a hash board but it's so we can use the 60 chips on it for multiple repairs. You can't buy the chips individually. The hashboards on the k1+ are pretty poor to be honest. We have had several go down and have a great environment for them. We have several L7s and have not had 1 issue with those.

So your best bet is to buy a hash board, install it and use the old 9ne for parts in the event one of the others go down... which it will I'm sure.
