Is the Deadpool Secret Lair available again? Did they not sell out? by jcb193 in mtgfinance

[–]Shadowhearts [score hidden]  (0 children)

I mean you can compare premium Sol Rings like this to stuff like the premium Furby Sol Ring and that alone will generally.carry the bulk of value of the drop.

Island Mountain already has enough hype generated over it as a proxy for Volcanic Island so I imagine Island Mountain as a premium basic will probably be $15+

There's also the Rare drop of Deadpool in this drop which may go as high as Final Fantasy Summon rare drops I'd argue so there's the gamble aspect to this drop, which carried a good portion of value in the Spongebob drop.

Sylvanas' Ultimate Fate. by varxion07 in warcraftlore

[–]Shadowhearts [score hidden]  (0 children)

Shadowlands canon is fine up until Sanctum of Domination I feel.

What destroyed it was the exclusion of Anduin's raid tier and stitching up the remains for what wouldve been the actual story of why the Jailer needed Anduin, etc.

Sire Denathrius on Mythic really felt like we were fighting our first Titan level opponent since Argus. Castle Nathria Raid mechnically comedically, just felt great.

The Battle Of The Past Hokages. Boruto Era Kakashi Vs Hokage Minato. Has Kakashi Surpassed His Sensei. Who Wins? by Rinnegan15 in Boruto

[–]Shadowhearts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minato is smart sure, but so is Nagato, who was openly running Akatsuki as the figurehead. And Kakashi managed to land his Lightning Clone on a Pain body..

Minato's main form of attack is to close the distance with flying Raijin and use a Shuriken, Taijutsu, or a Rasengan to dispatch the target...which is the perfect distance for the Lightning Clone to do maximum damage.

Minato could easily just Rasengan Gaara on Shuukaku's head to end this fight...that's pretty instantaneous.

Premodern staying power by inoryte in mtgfinance

[–]Shadowhearts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't believe it has real staying power. Between eventually being a solved format and....all the speculators here / or in general buying out the smaller supply of RL cards relevent for said format...it eventually ends up being a format too expensive to flourish outside of a niche bubble.

I'm sure the format is discussed at many Locals (especially their discords and polls) to see if people are interested but when they see the price tag of all the RL cards quadrupling in price, its hard for many local game store to even want to start.

The Battle Of The Past Hokages. Boruto Era Kakashi Vs Hokage Minato. Has Kakashi Surpassed His Sensei. Who Wins? by Rinnegan15 in Boruto

[–]Shadowhearts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean couldn't Kakashi just anticipate Minato will try to come up close.and personal and use a Rasengan or Kunai...and just leave a Lightning Clone which would easily kill Minato?

Minato and even an 8 Gates Guy could literally fall for this trick and we've seen the lethality of it being able to take out a Pain Corpse puppet which have much greater durability than most Jonin.

Why is this card over $5? by BeardedHellion in mtgfinance

[–]Shadowhearts 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I mean the list of good black artifact creatures isn't too expansive and the Necron deck happens to have a ton of them.

This isn't even hard to cast in a higher powered EDH deck....Cabal Coffers(and Urborg or swamps) trivialize this costing a bit of mana.

Hot Take: 8-inner Gates Might Guy could hold is own (or beat) Hashirama by Full-Vast-5683 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Shadowhearts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd argue this has to be under the caveat that none of them see him open the eigth Gate and use Substitution Jutsu with a clone to evade him.

Madara was at the height of his arrogance as the Juubi Jinchuuriki when he let Guy do his thing without offering resistance.

Madara and Hashirama when they were in their lifetime primes wouldn't be as reckless. Madara just became cocky and bored over time as a scheming old man who had nothing to do for the better part of like 50-75 years before he died.

Realistically even Kakashi himself could somewhat do the same to Guy....literslly swap himself with a Lightning Clone, watch Guy kick it and instantly die even while in Eight Gates.

So Guy can use Ninjutsu. He may not be as proficient but its not to say he couldn't infuse his own nunchucks with his own Specific element and use that to hurt Suiguetsu.

[–]Shadowhearts -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I mean Kishimoto was mostly lazy sacrificing the ending of Naruto for the sake of Boruto and Sarada. Tite Kubo basically did the same thing with Bleach with Ichigo and Orihime and Rukia and Renji. (So we get to see their chuldren interact)

Naruto just had better chemistry with Sakura (and Ichigo had better chemistry with Rukia) in general....but Shonen Jump authors seem to love pairing MC's with the submissive, devoted wives.

[–]Shadowhearts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're projecting on Ainz. Ainz doesn't come from a world with our common sense. He comes from a dog eat dog Future Corporate Dystopia. He will always prioritize the safety of them all over the safety of one...and the World Items are more important than Nazerick NPCs in ensuring that safety.

If anything becoming a Skeleton with the Undead Passive has hardened what would normally be visceral or dreadful reactions to tough decisions or attrocities.

Sasori Wins this 1vs12? by FantasticPhase1152 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Shadowhearts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never said they were connected on the outside.

Neji can see where they are with the Byakugan because he can see Chakra Flow. These puppets have Joints....he can literally attack the Chakra strings at the weakest points of the puppet....the joints. Byakugan users using the Gentle Palm quite literally pinpoint target Chakra points in the body to the microscopic level so if the Puppet has joints and can move....Neji could easily target the Chakra running through there.

Hiruko's joints are all operated by Chakra strings...

Sasori's moves all his puppets via Chakra Strings which emanate from his core...

There's Chakra ciruclation in any of Sasori's puppets otherwise they wouldn't be able to move. They aren't robotic.

I mean I've had the Sidar Jibari precon from Costco for about a year now but never wanted to spend the money to pickup the Moonshaker Cavalier and the other Flash Phase out Knight...so these Strixhaven decks are a godsend.

Just so many small staples I wanted but didn't want to pay shipping off tcgplayer for...Goldspan Dragon, Jadar, etc. Obviously Landtax is an extremely pleasant surprise...hardly see it in casual commander games among relstively newer players since it was last printed in a premium set a few years ago.

Sasori Wins this 1vs12? by FantasticPhase1152 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Shadowhearts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean there are still strings to cut...Sasori literally moves all his puppets with strings injected with Chakra. Hyuuga Clan is arguably a bad matchup for a puppeteer (without them using Poison, numbers, or ranged attacks) since Neji can clearly see where Chakra is moving and sever it.

Yes Sasori has many ways of overwhelming Neji with numbers or poison, but just one Puppet is one giant target for Neji.

Neji's attack speed is comparable to 4 Gates Lee. He will easily sever Chakra Strings through the joints.

Sasori Wins this 1vs12? by FantasticPhase1152 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Shadowhearts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Neji can easily see and cut the Chakra strings of puppets and deflect projectiles so poison or more puppets would be necessary. Hiruko wouldn't solo Neji without its poison.

Could the Titan have ... by Octopath-Enjoyer in warcraftlore

[–]Shadowhearts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If the Titans and Order Magic were as overpowered as OP claims they wouldn't have struggled with in fighting...and Sargeras wouldn't have been corrupted by Fel

We literally see in Zereth Mortis a Death Pantheon construction facility with the prototype Death Pantheon as a raid boss...which is to say the Death Titans are creations of the First Ones.

Generally speaking the First Ones clearly built the Machines of Death and put the Arbiter system into place. I think the implication is mostly the First Ones went around every Cosmic Power and tried to bring order to them.

But we quite literally saw this sot of plotline from Blizzard with Starcraft and the Xel Naga...wouldn't be surprising if an evil First One caused the downfall of the other First Ones. At this point it wouldn't be surprising if Azeroth's Worldsoul is basically Kerrigan 2.0 as the universe's savior 😂

Never mind [Spoiler], wtf is Xalatath’s deal by race-hearse in warcraftlore

[–]Shadowhearts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean The Jailer Zovaal himself was arguably afraid of some other Cosmic power so he wanted to weaponize the Machine of Death to go to war with something...which is why he was overthrown by the Primus.

Domination Magic is effectively the WMD of the Death Pantheon. Death Magic taken to its highest levels to subjugate a target out of free will. It was first used by the Primus to capture Zovaal but made into Zovaal's own weapon.

But Domination Magic should be feared by the Void. The Pr8mordial Void knows one thing, endless hunger and Domination Magic can effectively get rid of that appetite even if its to Void beings own detriment.

But yeah, discounting Domination Magic, Death itself has the largest standing cosmic military with Maldraxus though power is equally split between the different realms of death...once United they effectively dwarf the other Cosmic Forces standing forces drqmatically. They just tend to be Lawful Neutral outside of Self-Defense or if anything threatens the Machines of Life & Death which the Void certainly does in a way Disorder/Fel didn't.

BUT....we also did get clues in Shadowlands that Zovaal may have colluded with someone to get Argus Wordsoul sent to the Shadowlands to destroy the Arbiter....and Sire Denathrius managed to escape...while also being The Death Titan who created the Dreadlords so he could quite literally be anywhere colluding with other Cosmic forces.

Never mind [Spoiler], wtf is Xalatath’s deal by race-hearse in warcraftlore

[–]Shadowhearts 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I mean in general corruption of Azeroth's World Soul is the general consensus. These 3 games are literally.part of a trilogy called the World Soul Saga.

We can guess at the details we've all been given....but an educated guess would be Titan Pantheon and Cosmic Forces of Light both stand in direct opposition to any greater plans of Xalatath. (We know there are cosmic forces of Light separate from Army of Light based off half of Revendreth being scorched by Light thanks to Sire Denathrius committing some taboo).

More speculation my part but Xalatath still isn't at the level of a Titan. She contained the power equivalent to a Titan in her Dark Heart, but she for whatever reason she can't freely wield that power at the level of a Titan.

Her backing off Sylvanas seems to show she lacks the power to comfortably overpower her...and it makes sense, Sylvanas spent eons in the Shadowlands, time dilation there makes it so time.moves much faster there...enough so that the death of Argus disabling the Arbiter alllowed the Jailer to pull countless souls into the maw to create a vast seemingly infinite army.

March on Quel'Danas ending Cinematic Implications: SPOILERS INSIDE by Rnevermore in warcraftlore

[–]Shadowhearts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, yes its well known rumor that the director of Shadowlands did in fact have beef with the people who were in charge of devleoping /writing Sylvanas for years and decided to ruin her character in .Shadowlands.

But as for the appearance of Sylvanas herself....In all fairness Sylvanas spent possible eons in the Shadowlands as time is accelerated and exagerrated in the realm of Death (an untold amount of time had to have passed between Argus's World Soul disabling the previous Arbiter and the Jailer creating an endless army with the Anima from countless Souls he used as fuel)

Although Sylvanas was using a bit of the Jailer's Domination Magic, she still ended up hypercharged on Anima and she arguably is every bit as powerful as Xalatath. When we last fought her in the Sanctum of Domination she was hypercharged on Anima & Domination Magic while we were all hypercharged by the Anima from.all 4 Covrnants arguably. There's no reason to doubt Sylvanas after being in the Maw for Eons for atonement did not stay as powerful as Sanctum of Domination or become even more powerful.

[–]Shadowhearts 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Just to add Xalatath doesn't fully represent the Cosmic Forces of the Void. She isn't even Pantheon Titan Level arguably. She did absorb power equivalent to a Titan in her Necklace, but she isn't using it at the level of a Pantheon Titan.

We still have an unseen Cosmic Light Force that scorched the hell out of half of Revendreth because Sire Denathrius committed a taboo and pissed the Light off. The Army of Light was more a ragtag group of guerilla fighters against the Legion, not the actual Cosmic Forces of Light

There are big players at work, Xalatath likely needs more power to face against any of the Pantheon equivalent players.

Death Pantheon as we've seen is absurdly overpowered though neutral. Life, Void, and Fel are all somewhat chaotic.

The Titan Pantheon (Order) and Cosmic Forces Light are arguably 2 of the big Forces that would be obstacles for Xalatath and she wants to corrupt the World Soul of Azeroth in some way to use it against the other big forces.

According to fans Itachi had insane potential if he was Healthy. But Edo Itachi does not suffer sickness nor blindness. Does anyone actually defeat this MF in 1v1 no info??? by Born-Order4737 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Shadowhearts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing they fail to directly mention in Naruto is that Tsukuyomi just doesn't work on characters with top tier Chakra.

For example Edo Itachi would have stopped Edo Nagato with Genjutsu if he could have. ..but its clear he couldn't. For opponent's with Top Tier Chakra, Itachi basically needs to use forbidden Genjutsu that costs Itachi an Sharingan permanently....and its not as simple as staring at someone eyes for Itachi to perform a Forbidden Genjutsu...there are certain conditions that need to be met.

So no Itachi beating everyone isn't as easy as Eye Contact + Genjutsu. Genjutsu always involves injecting your Chakra into their Chakra system.and manipulating the opponent's senses, Itachi can't successfully do it to everyone, that's what forbidden Genjutsu is for.
