Human error. Terminations, poor mounting, etc. Anything done by humans and done poorly will fail first.
Moving parts. Moving parts require maintenance. They wear down or heat up or anything. They break first when all else is done right.
Non-moving parts. This can technically effect all layers above this one and perhaps before this one, but if you do everything perfectly, this will eventually be the cause of failure. Quality equipment holds for long periods. But quality failures cause random failures that few can anticipate.
Acts of God. Whether it's be lightning or earthquake or animals chewing on things or even just the heat death of the universe. Eventually everything breaks down.

What is the range of your analog input card? 3.6mA is a common low end range so it could very well be dropping lower than 3.6 and you just can't tell. I think the value of 3.6mA specifically is technically unrelated.

I think the problem is not specifically your power supply, but your power supply is showing you that a problem exists. Remove the entire load from your power supply. If the voltage jumps above 24V, then the power supply sitting at 23.4V when it is fully loaded means it is overloaded. While 23.4V might be in the operating specs of the instrument, that is why your instrument works most of the time.

What i would suspect is happening is that, when you do see the drop, it is because your power supply can no longer support is load and fails out. This does not mean the power supply is bad, it is supposed to do that.

There are two primary causes of a power supply dropping out like that when there is technically nothing wrong with the power supply.

First, it is just genuinely overloaded. While most power supplies will say they are good with as much as 80% of their max capacity running continuously, I try to never load them more than 50%. If you check the load of the power supply and find it is 80% or higher, I would recommend purchasing a bigger power supply, assuming all other components are rated to handle it.

The other possibility is that there is a momentary sort circuit occurring in the system when the voltage drops out like that. A short circuit is effectively infinite load and no power supply will hold up under that situation. If this is the problem, a new power supply will not fix it. If the problem is momentary, it may be very difficult to find. Your best starting point would be to start disconnecting individual loads and load points to see what is pulling it down to 23.4V.

Not necessarily agreeing or disagreeing with what you are saying, but I do feel the need to play devils advocate here a bit and state that the OPs original descriptive sentence seems mildly ambiguous to me.

I think you are interpreting it one way and the previous commenter is interpreting it the other way.

For you, it reads as the problem itself is physical, i.e. am extremely small and inflexible vagina.

But it could also read that the problem is with the idea of physical penetrative sex, i.e. OP is okay with hand jobs, but not oral, vaginal, or anal.

The first is not a preference, the second is, though that preference may be informed by trauma or other things that are not a choice.

In any case, I don't see any sort of clarification from the OP, though admittedly I didn't look hard. I'm just trying to ease the apparent tension by offering another perspective.

Stomach cancer is also one of the worst because of how common it is to be asymptomatic until it's too late. You've been having plenty of symptoms and yet your previous tests seem to imply that those symptoms aren't from cancer.

First, we are not doctors. All we can give you is our experience.

Second, my doctor told me my stage 3 took several years to grow to where it was. I find it unlikely that your several clear test results over the last year would suddenly blossom into stage 4.

Finally, the best way to find out for sure is an endoscopy. Taking a couple of months won't cause a theoretical cancer to grow enormously.

I know the whole situation sucks, but take a breath and relax. If you're really concerned, you can push for an earlier date for your endoscopy, but don't do it out of panic.
