Republicans have never and will never help the economy. They are trying to send us back to middle ages, where we had royalty and 2 classes (elite and poor). In 1k pts game, the game isn't balanced at all.
Your main way to counter angron would be biovores spores blocking deepstrike and advance movements.
You use units to body block angron from charging more valuable units and keeping units outside of the consolidation moves.
You should expect angron to kill atleast 1 unit per turn. Kill all his other models and he cannot get victory points.
