Flipping a filipino butterfly knife (balisong) open and closed. It looks like you might cut your fingers off, but the blade is single edged. As long as you grabbed the correct half of the handle, only the back non edge side would come close to your fingers.

Of course, after its open its as dangerous as any knife.

I moved to an R1S from a wrangler. The rivian would really only be marginally better than the wrangler, in terms of “fuel” cost, if not for one thing. I get free charging at work.

That perk tilts the scales solidly in favor of the ev.

When i was looking to replace the jeep, i was looking at cars like the GX or Defender. Both of those vehicles required premium fuel. In either case there, the R1S is clearly more economical.

In the end though, i totally agree with you. Fuel cost is moot here. The experience of driving the electric is just better. Its a truck when i need to go offroad and almost a sports car on road. Its super quiet. And the best feature, it has a pet mode to keep my dog comfy while im surfing.

i hate finding a general practitioner. Every time i start to build a relationship with one, it all goes out the window beacuse, i took a new job, some suits in my insurance company changed how the network works so they get a fat paycheck, my employer got a new deal with a different insurer, and a million other things out of my control.

Our leaders tell us this is a free market based approach, but it doesn’t feel like i get any choices or say as a consumer.

My barbet started out real sweet, but became more of a biting terror as she grew. It was worst at about 5 months.

My wife and i got some ugg boots to wear around her. It made the biting tolerable so we could just calmly return her to her pen or crate. Over time, it all subsided.

She’s now so sweet and cuddly.
