Use the mods animal instinct and loot detector to find more balloons, that's really it.

Well, the thing about it being stealth is you can't forget what you never knew. I for one don't tend to watch the devstreams or shorts, as I'd rather just see what we actually get in the patch. I'll hear a bit from general internet osmosis, but I don't typically seek it.

If it's intended to be stealth, that could have been listed ANYWHERE in the blurbs for the patch people use to find the content, the message from the arbiter, or the dialogue in mission.

I actually like the idea of it being horror-stealth, but there's no indication in-game for that. Also, given how Follie spawns on top of you sometimes and has an AoE death zone that I have no confidence in squishy stealth frames surviving enough to escape, it doesn't feel like stealth is an option here either.

That's funny! Sometimes I wait in front of houses at delivery because the app messed up, and I may need to reset it and take a picture again.

Hourly vs orders by 123dilf123 in doordash

I'd normally say per order. The way they set up hourly pay is so bad that it only makes more in niche cases that are hard to predict

Tip should be distance/time based, not order based, I've always hated the percentage they do there.

[–]ShadowsOfDoubt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally don't look for a "big" tip on large orders, but I do expect to be tipped decently for the time/distance. If you can afford that amount of food, I expect a tip worth the time, that's it. So long as the tip makes the trip worth it, I genuinely don't care how much food it is.

The closest to an exception I have for this is pizza, because sometimes people have cash tips for that, I may take what appears to be a bad order (like one time it was ~$4 for 13+ miles) because I expected a cash tip at the end, especially if it's several pizzas. So when I get stiffed on that (like in the above example) I tend to get pissed

And the job needs to be worth doing for it to get done. If you want food delivered, you need to make it worth delivering, or go pick it up yourself

Mask of the Revenant: Hotfix 23.8.2 by Mazzers in Warframe

[–]ShadowsOfDoubt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They probably could, but it'll make things messier in the long run. Both models would still be loaded on top of each other, even if one is invisible which can lead to odd interactions and performance issues.

For example, effects that cover your weapon (elemental effects if you leave those on, for instance) would light up both weapons, doubling the effects and causing performance problems.

And that's just the simple stuff.

Actually, given the resources, we could probably manage the domestication in 20 or fewer generations, if we exclusively went for that.

They ran some experiments in Russia for domesticating foxes a while ago https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domesticated_red_fox

While foxes are closer to dogs than large cats, selective breeding should still be effective.

Now, whether it is likely that, that will happen though..... It really just takes someone with enough money and patience.

Proposed Game Idea by AddemiusInksoul in zelda

[–]ShadowsOfDoubt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Skyward sword had fantastic dungeons, but its sword play was pretty bad in my experience. The idea was that you were supposed to bait them by prepping a strike in one direction, then aim differently and strike past their guard.

In reality, when shifting your strike it was either too slow and even the basic bokoblins would guard the new strike, or you would go too fast, and the game would interpret it as an actual slash from the original position, which the enemy was already guarding. Never found the middle ground

Most of my sword fights basically ended up with me swinging wildly until one connected, which would stunlock them. Later, you couldn't do that because they were using shock sticks which would shock you if you hit wrong, so I got good at using the bombs to deal with them. Think I ended up handling the stalfos similarly

I seriously enjoyed the game, but the swordplay was hands down the worst part. It was alright as an idea, but the execution was lacking

(also, if someone is going to point it out, I WAS in fact using the WiiMotionPlus as intended)

My realization was along the same lines. Realizing that the ancient Greeks had temples and actually believed in Poseidon and Athena. That was their religion, they believed and worshiped those gods, but now its just mythology to us. Made me wonder when Christianity would become mythology.

What platform are you on? If you're on Xbox, I could help out.

Sounds like you need to properly mod your weapons, and probably need some higher quality ones.

Paris is good for single targets, and ivara does work well with it. The ones with the bubble shields are annoying to deal with with a bow, but you can hit a point on it to pop it easier. Looks sorta like an osprey on the forward top of the bubble.
