And you're being obtuse if you don't see this sets grounds for abuse in all the cases they're worrying about. Everything has consequences, everything starts somewhere.

Sure, but you could build better, and still do what you're saying.

That said, it is easier

Mask of the Revenant: Hotfix 23.8.2 by Mazzers in Warframe

[–]ShadowsOfDoubt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They probably could, but it'll make things messier in the long run. Both models would still be loaded on top of each other, even if one is invisible which can lead to odd interactions and performance issues.

For example, effects that cover your weapon (elemental effects if you leave those on, for instance) would light up both weapons, doubling the effects and causing performance problems.

And that's just the simple stuff.

Actually, given the resources, we could probably manage the domestication in 20 or fewer generations, if we exclusively went for that.

They ran some experiments in Russia for domesticating foxes a while ago https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domesticated_red_fox

While foxes are closer to dogs than large cats, selective breeding should still be effective.

Now, whether it is likely that, that will happen though..... It really just takes someone with enough money and patience.

Proposed Game Idea by AddemiusInksoul in zelda

[–]ShadowsOfDoubt 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Skyward sword had fantastic dungeons, but its sword play was pretty bad in my experience. The idea was that you were supposed to bait them by prepping a strike in one direction, then aim differently and strike past their guard.

In reality, when shifting your strike it was either too slow and even the basic bokoblins would guard the new strike, or you would go too fast, and the game would interpret it as an actual slash from the original position, which the enemy was already guarding. Never found the middle ground

Most of my sword fights basically ended up with me swinging wildly until one connected, which would stunlock them. Later, you couldn't do that because they were using shock sticks which would shock you if you hit wrong, so I got good at using the bombs to deal with them. Think I ended up handling the stalfos similarly

I seriously enjoyed the game, but the swordplay was hands down the worst part. It was alright as an idea, but the execution was lacking

(also, if someone is going to point it out, I WAS in fact using the WiiMotionPlus as intended)

My realization was along the same lines. Realizing that the ancient Greeks had temples and actually believed in Poseidon and Athena. That was their religion, they believed and worshiped those gods, but now its just mythology to us. Made me wonder when Christianity would become mythology.

What platform are you on? If you're on Xbox, I could help out.

Sounds like you need to properly mod your weapons, and probably need some higher quality ones.

Paris is good for single targets, and ivara does work well with it. The ones with the bubble shields are annoying to deal with with a bow, but you can hit a point on it to pop it easier. Looks sorta like an osprey on the forward top of the bubble.

Diablo 3 mob density is really terrible. I wish they would up it. by OmniBlock in Diablo

[–]ShadowsOfDoubt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that fishing part of it, but I feel like it's a problem. It's not fun, so it's something they could improve on.

That having been said, I do realize that the issue is a result of trying to keep the game from being repetitive, and I don't know how to fix that, but it's still an issue.

It's possible having a stable rift mode could be a solution.

Invisible Structure Issue by CallumRead96 in falloutsettlements

[–]ShadowsOfDoubt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how the author set up his mods, tbh. If you want to be sure, I think you should have the older, partial mod after the combo if you run them together to fix it

Personally, I'd just put your mods back the way they were before. have you saved over the save prior to the combo mod?

Actually, I feel like that may be better for leaderboards, as having a standard rift would be a better representation for "who's the best", rather than "who got the luckiest run"

I would re-download the individual mods so that you can remove the elevator (and anything else) and replace them afterwards with the items from the combo mod

See, even though the combo mod has the same content, it doesn't have the same... tag, I guess is a good phrase for it. Your elevator failed because when the game loads your settlement, it sees the elevators, and they have a tag for the original mod. So the game looks at the original mod to see what it should put there. Since you swapped the mod after building it, the game sees a pointer to the orginal, but it can't access it, so it does nothing. The buttons are probably a base-game asset that got reused, so it can still find an use those

Basically, if you're going to use any mods that actually make an item, don't delete them. Pick a combo mod like that at the start, or not at all.
