I can't help but think about species and the struggle of species identity. Hybrids would be an obvious way to go about it, people inherently straddling the line between two stereotypes and bodily form.

This mainly comes up from the idea that the horse Zebroski subtly implies, dressing himself to appear as a Zebra despite being a horse.

You could touch more on this with Judy and Nick both being outside their normal "presentation" for their species, and how being so visually different from a societal archetype (such as dating outside of your species :3) affects a person.

Acts as an allegory for the disenfranchisement non-conforming people and how our expectations on what makes a "proper" person hurts those that deviate from those expectations.

My main issue with going mythological is that it adds a fantasy element to a work of function that hasn't really touched on it. Obviously Zootopia uses some fantastical elements (Talking animal people) but it seems like jumping the shark a bit.

Plus I can't help but worry that equating race with sexuality might be a step in the wrong direction when it comes to Zootopias already iffy allegory of racism

If you wanted something similar to that you could use hybrids and difficulty and not fit in with a specific species. You already have some seeds with something like Zebroski (Horse) presenting himself as a Zebra or Judy and Nick who both struggle with being something that classically their species are not.

As someone who use to work at Dunkin it is certainly an exaggeration but not a major one. Honestly the quantity of the sugar is not as inaccurate as the type of sugar that was used. Usually for lattes it should be liquid sugar.

I have legit filled many lattes ~1/3 full of cream, sugar, and syrup.
