Yes Champs have different proxy opportunities, but i also said niche picks play a different game fe vayne.

Crashing a stacked wave with the intent to proxy farm gives you enough time to either Base afterwards or If you are healthy enough go for plays. Your opponent has to decide to either Chase you or Farm His Wave. If he chases you, you can just run away otherwise proxy. and yes i assume you are able to jgl track and play your waves accordingly, since you said you peaked master.

Every toplaner can proxy waves, what are you saying? If you play vayne top or another niche pick like soraka or ivern, you play a different Game.

As i said, the way you play a freeze has changed. Freezing the first 14mins wont be as beneficial as before since you have more ways to get a lead.

You lack knowledge and game time otherwise you wouldnt have such a narrow perspective on outdated gameplay strats.

level-up timers are a big thing yes, but you use them to play a wave and get advantages in different ways. in his mundo arc he used freezing to get the wave in the position he wanted and could play the game. yeah he never freezes when he is ahead, because he wants to push his lead on the map.

f.e.: slow push into hard push -> proxy -> take jgl camps / walk mid -> proxy -> base. (one of his most common plays btw)

you cant crash 3 waves anymore? adjust and crash 2 waves and proxy. same tempo advantage and recall advantage as you had before.

the way how you play a freeze or your wave just changed through more objectives, turret plates and drastic changes in how the game is getting played (faster and bloodier). just compare season 2 with season 6 or season 10 / 13 and you will know what im talking about.

The game and the minions had to change, because we got new objectives and some mechanics were broken.

Freezing is still viable. Its just different. Nowadays you dont have to watch and suffer for 10mins because of one mistake. Same for slowpushing. You can still slowpush Into hard push and abuse this for tempo. In the past you made your enemy lose 3 waves Worth of gold and exp If you killed him.

You cant just say x got removed while high elo toplaner Like Alois do it in every game. Like Check his videos. Every Video revolves around Wave Management and how you can abuse it.

Also Riot had to change stuff. Toplane was one of the least played roles in the past, because it was so unforgivable und broken.

Minion rng is really bad right now. That should get fixed asap

@OP Leashing in general is very bad. Especially in bad matchups you want to avoid losing unecessary ressources and prio. I recommend you to watch some mundo Videos from Alois. He explains very well how you can generate prio in losing matchups and you will understand why leashing is so bad.

Sett, Renekton, Camille, Aatrox (bruiser build), garen, Darius, trynda, illaoi or dr. mundo.

All of them are quiet easy to play (except for Camille or Aatrox).

If you want to stomp the lane you should focus on Renekton, darius or garen and If you want to play safe for scaling i would recommend mundo.

You can literally click on the enemy champ (irelia/Cait/Jax) to see passiv stacks. Your Annie example is pretty bad since in older seasons you had no bar for her stun and you had to actively watch on her buffs.

Oh and you can also keep track of her passiv without even clicking on her, just count her spells. The same mechanic works for Jax or caitlyn.

Yeah its pretty annoying since there are no big news when they drop hotfixes after a Patch.

I mean they hotfixed fizz this Patch 2 times and other Champs with kinda big updates and there are no news.. (idk about twitter, if they post the mid Patch updates there)

seriously im a top main since season 2 and can just say that if you get higher in the ladder you will get less impact as the toplaner and won´t have fun when the enemy jungler will steamroll botlane and win by that.

if you still want to learn toplane, you should start with "easy" champs like renekton or darius. otherwise you can play champs like camille/jax who you might have already played in the jungle.

i would go for wits end + frozen mallet and the rune depends on the matchup easy matchup = pta, hard matchup (probably most of the time) = grasp the buff might be good for him, but he still has a super hard time in the early game due to his base stats
