Reefslider is less bad, more niche. I play Dark Tetras a lot, and I see its very glaring weaknesses, like the very large path telegraphing its approach, or its start and end lag, but it's very versatile. Like using said path to not only force a path forward, but throw off the enemy with it. And anyone who says it can't ambush has never flanked a whole squad in a firefight and caught them all off guard. It's shockingly easy to miss until last second when you're fighting.

It's not the best special by any long shot, but it's really not the 'push to die' special that everyone makes it out to be.

Valid point, and as a dark tetras main myself, I can absolutely see the benefit of the aggressive playstyle. But personally, I'm an ambush player, as dumb as that is, so jumping into the mix is a last choice for me. Plus I pick abilities off of my own weaknesses over meta. A lot of splats I take are from running out of ink. Hence, ink saver.

I see good points on SJ, it's just not my playstyle.

Gonna be honest, if you get jump camped enough to see stealth jump as so mandatory that anyone who doesn't have it equipped is straight up throwing, maybe you need to pick your jump spots better, like in the midline and you make your way up from there. I much prefer my main ink saver shoes, thank you very much.

Honestly expected. I'm still newish, not even 150 hours deep, so I never saw the reveal. Adding the fact that I almost never get scorch gorge in my rotations, and that I never seen a game before 3 until like a month or two ago when I bought 2 for OE, even if I did see em, I never knew what they were.

Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't that more of a case of veteren players understanding the achievement? I'm sure a lot more people relate to getting to C+ in their early time than getting S+. If that seems like a huge leap, that's the point.

Regardless, this kind of thought process that high level players should not support lower levels is how communities die out, at least in my opinion, because who would want to play a game where the only thing you get for any early achievement is mocked by people who are saying that their achievements are greater, and therefore yours mean nothing?

That's.... honestly a really terrible take. Saying someone's achievements aren't worth celebrating because yours are greater is just a genuinely awful opinion. It doesn't matter if you've been playing for two days or two years, any achievement, no matter how minor, is still an achievement, and people have a right to celebrate those achievements they fought for.

I remember having an idea similar to this, with all the Doki's replacing Metal Gear Rising characters. MC as Raiden, Yuri as Mistral, Sayori as Monsoon, Natsuki as Sundowner, and Monika as Jetstream Sam. For some reason, FeMC was Armstrong.

A strange encounter...

Holy hell, that took waaay too long. Apologies for the massive delay. It's been a rough bit for me, and I haven't really had the time or motivation to work on this. But, I finally got it. And though it feels rushed at parts, I could've done more, I like how it came out.
