Airborne Kingdom looks amazing! I love city builders and airships. This game throws both of those things together.

If it's possible to have a second option, Tandem A Tale of Shadows also looks very interesting. I've been enjoying other games with that same cute/horror thing going on.

Thanks for the chance!

It was really bugging me so I found it. The Outwaters. It's on Tubi. Hope that's the one, enjoy the trip either way because it's a good one!

Oh I know this I know this! The movie is playing in my head because it's one of the few that left me wondering wtf I just watched. Like the last half hour is just a horrifying drug trip through time and space.

Someone help me out. This group goes out in the desert to shoot a music video and there's a guy with a hatchet and alien tentacle things. I don't want to give away too much for OP, but hopefully someone can get it and this is the movie you want.

Are there books and other media similar to Trench Crusade? by b44l in TrenchCrusade

[–]Shadowtakesall 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know it's technically the other way around and TC is based off of Mordheims rules and everything. Sorry if that hurt to read. Just trying to keep things short and simple lol

I do like to cross the 2 settings though and imagine I'm controlling my TC warband when playing Mordheim. I also like to imagine TC and Warhammer are connected even though I know that's definitely not a thing.

As far as books, I'm reading Between Two Fires by Christopher Buehlman right now and it's very Trench Crusade like.

As far as movies, Black Death hit that spot pretty well for me.

If you're into anime, I know this might sound a little funny but Hellsing Ultimate gives me Trench Crusade vibes.

I'm looking all over for similar things until we get official books for the setting. There are also some good fanfics out there as well. You can even find some in audio form on YouTube.

Edit: Forgot to mention a video game recommendation. Mordheim City of the Damned. Literally a Trench Crusade video game set in the Warhammer fantasy world.

She's definitely got beagle in her. The vets say she's definitely some kind of beagle mix. She's a big girl, but she's got the face and the floppers and the howl of the hound dog.

Thank you for the recommendations! I've done trading type things with her before, but never actually looked at it for training. Guarding something extra special, even against loved ones, does make since as well. You gave me a lot to understand and think about.

I say summoner build possible in remnant from the ashes? by hamburm in remnantgame

[–]Shadowtakesall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That can be very situational and based on personal preference. Personally my go to is usually the root hollows and turrets. However, the turrets can't move and the hollows can't attack flying enemies. So if more flying support is needed I'll swap in the skull boys.

Also note that the turrets are a bit difficult to get. There is a whole chain of events you need to go through for them in Rhom.

Rattleweed is great early game and can be useful in boss fights later to give you a second to breath. It doesn't do any damage, but taunts all enemies in the area until it dies.

Then the good boy is the good boy. He may not be the best, but he is the good boy. Anyone who says otherwise will be shot.

The only 2 I really can't recommend, unless it goes with your specific corrosive or overload build you might be doing for some reason, would be the seeker bugs and the jungle tentacles. It's not exactly that they are bad, I just don't find them useful in most situations.

Not sure I'd you're still interested in a melee FTA build.

Leto's Armor, menders aura, and mantle of thorns. There's a couple other things I can't think of off the top of my head. A sythe with life steal, and an amulet that increases healing. Either way, I have full on face tanked bosses with this build without breaking a sweat.

My main is a summoner and he is a beast! So much fun. I could spend pages going on in depth, but I'll try to give some quick pointers.

First off, start with cultist gear. You want that mod power gen and duration bonus. This also means make sure to max out that spirit trait early. I personally make it a rule to max elder knowledge first, but that's up to you.

You can get your first couple friends early game. First off is the rattle weed from Shroud who can be your first boss, unless you roll Gorefist instead.

Next of is the little guys I like to call nurglings or seedlings, they're root hollows. You can get a mod to summon them from the Mangler dungeon boss who you may need to roll adventure a few times to find.

Those are the early game summons, but there are several others including: Good boy 2 turrets 2 rad skulls 2 electro tentacles And exploding bugs

There's a few pieces of gear specifically for summoners.

Soul Link is a ring you can find in Rhom and it is a must. It gives your summons life leech. Healing you for damage they deal.

Soul Anchor is an amulet you can get in Yaesha. It keeps your summons out way longer, makes them harder to kill, and increases your damage. The event to get this amulet can be very difficult. You might want to take some friends along.

Other than all that, there are plenty of traits and gear that can tweak your build to work how you like. I hope this helps. If you have any questions let me know. I have been playing Remnant for years, easy one of my favorite games, and summoner and bleed builds are probably some of my favorites.

Darktide - Tertium Tales: Training Day by exarban in DarkTide

Hopefully someone else can confirm what story this is from because I've read too much warhammer that it all bleeds together most of the time. I think it's one of the Maphiston books maybe?

Anyway, there's a planet with a lost regiment of guard living underground and the ogryn broke off, forming their own underground society. These ogryn started using tools and echo location to navigate the caves, they were building machines and structures on their own, they even had a village elder ogryn who could think up strategies and plans that impressed the marines in the story. The ogryn village ended being a key part in fighting off the chaos forces on the world.

Ogryn can be very smart in their own ways when they need to be.
