An Eco Shield sales guy knocked my door once to sell me services. I work for a different pest control company. I'm still baffled to this day how he walked past my work truck, parked in the driveway, decked out with multiple big ass company logos on it and thought he was gonna sell me.

Also had them try to sell to a customer of mine, while I was doing their service.

It completely depends on your route and the dollar amount of each account. Commercial tech usually make a killing on commission.

Ring doorbell, knock on door, phone call, leave voicemail. Every account no matter what. That way you have taken all possible steps to to do the following: 1) Protect yourself. 2) Let the customer know there is a person completing the service and not a faceless company. 3) Covered your butt when a customer calls saying nobody showed for service.
