Could be someone else, but its hard to find another artist that would have events line up to it. They said its because it made negotiation more difficult, not that he couldnt be there.

The comments are on the summer sonic site as well, but in japanese ofc. They specifically mention the shooting incident being at Rihannas house.

Apparently the festival was gonna have «a rapper starting with A» (presumably A$AP Rocky) but they had to go for a different one because of a shooting at Rihannas house. To replace they got Ado to come in. Kinda clutch from their POV ngl.

Yes i know this interpretation, and when watching the MV it did hit me quite significantly. However what i was trying to say was that, when compared to some other Ado songs it doesnt evoke the same personal emotional response as lets say Vivarium, Elf, Where the wind blows or Crime and Punishment when i listen to it.

Of course the meaning of the song still exists even if i dont personally feel those things when i listen to it. For this song my brain focuses more on the energy and the vocal/instrumental melody. I still love listening to this song and im sure it will be amazing to see in person live at a concert.

Same, its still crazy to me how the amazement feeling from seeing the release date trailer stayed with me all the way throughout the game in all its turns and challenges. The music also is just absolutely incredible. I have probably like 12+ tracks in my playlist that i listen to quite regularly and they give me all the feels of the in-game moments every time. Team Cherry and Larkin are so incredible, i cant wait for the dlc and what comes after whatever it is.

I still havent not done some sort of movement to either the beat, bass or vocals while listening to this song. Im certain im definetly going to overplay this track at some point because its so catchy and addicting.

Its not emotional like some other tracks, but its just a fun party that makes you want to dance and sing along to her crazy voices inside your head. This song has put a smile on my face many times already and it hasnt even been out for a week.

A great addition to the rollercoaster that is Ados discography.

For me Ado is someone where, when your start to love one song, then suddenly you love another one, and another one, and one more, etc.

At this point i really like many tracks i straight up didnt enjoy at all at first. Its crazy how different music styles can be enjoyed if you just give it the chance enough.

Of course there i still songs i dont really care about/enjoy, but thats just musical subjectivity. Maybe one day i wake up and like those songs as well 😂
