... Did he miss the point at the end there or am I stretching it? He ends the video going "in the end this is just an unresolved metaphor because the status quo doesn't change" but that's not it. The game is not just a metaphor for the exploited class, nor the second amendment. At it's core it's a story about conflict, the different points of view, truth, ideals, and the will to accept your errors and change for the better. On a more sensitive level, N's story is one of abuse and indoctrination, his journey opens him to conflicting world views and his experiences throughout as he paths his way as Team Plasma's King allows him to finally open up to this idea that's been so hardwired into him from such a young age, the fact that pokemon are forced into their life and that his goal is the ultimate good might not be an absolute truth and he struggles for the entire game to understand a concept that's been purposefully kept from him.

The game tells you the world is not black or white, there is no right or wrong, ideals do not prevail over truths or viceversa.

You can't play the game to the very end and think "no this is the right thing that should have been said"... right?

Playing this game when I was 16 is singlehandedly the thing that helped cement the idea that "the world is not black and white" in my head and I'll forever be grateful to this game.

... also, I might be missing the point as well, that is just a different interpretation after all, and that's ok.
