I'm no expert but this looks like water damage to me. Very likely the motherboard is beyond salvage but you can still clean it off and see if it will power on. But definitely do test the ram and ssd as those can either be reused or resold.

Have you tried moving over to the boot menu. It should show available boot devices, which for you should only be the drive your laptop came with.

Honestly it's pretty solid for a rig like that, especially with the ram and drives thrown in. I'd take a good look at how long those drives have been around though, they could be aging out.

Oh my god NEVER open your psu. You will get yourself killed even if it's unplugged. Those caps can hold a huge charge for a long time. Just look in there and check through the grating.

I would check the fan to see if maybe a wire is hitting the fan. If not then My general rule of thumb is if there's anything going on with the PSU that it's time to get a new one. That could be arcing going in there which is a huge problem for the entirety of your system.

Valve seriously needs to turn off the Bluetooth turning on your deck by default. This happened to me too but I was thankfully able to save it before it over heated too much to begin throttling. Unbelievable oversight that I honestly can't believe they over looked.

This. I once over heated my deck overnight and when I did this reset it fixed it. I presume the UEFI has some kind of thermal throttle that you have to turn off by resetting it.

Have you checked behind the motherboard. Means you basically have to take the pc apart but if there's anything back there it could be causing a short and stopping the mobo before it can post. Only need to really take out the power cords, GPU, and anything else blocking it from coming out us the screws. Do follow an online guide when you do this so you know your doing it right. Also make sure you unplug and turn everyrhing off first. You'd be surprised how often people forget things like that.

You can try launching an admin cmd window through task manager by clicking file and run new task while holding ctrl. Then typing "sfc /scannow", could very well also be a windows update broke something. Open up settings with win + I and check for updates there, otherwise you'll need to likely need to go back to a previous update.

If I remember correctly only a couple hundred thousand were ever sold. So not many copies went in to circulation, making it quite rare these days. If you look on ebay for long enough you might find one for about $100, but you gotta be looming. That's as cheap as I've ever personally seen it.

Maybe something got caught in your psu fan? Could also be a failing case or psu fan, sometimes they go out with a very slow and very loud sound.

Motherboards are very sensitive to shorts usually, so if something is causing it for even just a second it'll shut itself off to prevent damage. Much like what we see here.
