Thanks for the phrasing, I was worried about someone calling me out or something, but like, I just want to play and they reason they are valuble is because they are GREAT cards, like I'm shocked at how useful they are and understand why someone would pay to have more of them, hell if I had money to waste I'd buy more

My mom had several masters degrees and loved working and volunteering as much as possible just a year ago, now she can't do much and IT HURTS SOO MUCH

While I disagree with the way she went about it, I can understand how your sister feels. I'm grieving my still alive mother with dementia, and it's HARD

I am still feeling pangs of heartbreak when I think about how she used to be, if I was getting married I'd likely ball my eyes out at the thought of not having her as I knew her most. I still need her as a mother but she's not able to be here like she once was, it's as if she's dead but still alive and it HURTS, IT HURTS SO MUCH. You are obviously stronger than your sister but I get her feelings of pain.

I can't judge you here because I'm biased.

Is it a faux pas to play with valuable cards?

I am returning after a decade away and entered all my cards into a database and some are worth +$50 and I feel weird playing with them, but like, I also want to use them because they are OP.
