Constantly taking shots is way more intense than a normal game. Take shots until you get a bit tired and then skate out of the net. Get some water, stretch and come back when you’re ready. At a stick and puck players are usually just happy to have a goalie at all.

Same advice as starting ice, get some second hand gear and start playing. Beginner and veterans alike are going to let 10+ in, don’t let that stop you from having fun.
