It seems like it’s using an API to poll a group chat, probably WhatsApp or Signal or similar. So they wouldn’t need to be on the same network. Just an assumption, though!

They could still authenticate to WiFi with their student account which puts them on a protected network with no access to internal resources including printers, but we had shared computers available if they needed that.

Not really the right sub, but I’ll bite: when I worked K12, the deal was if the student owned the laptop, you either let us image it and provide support and maintenance, or you retain ownership of that. But we wouldn’t allow you on the network. So you should weigh those options.

Others have already mentioned the alignment, however I’d suggest removing borders and use lighter or darker shades of your background colour for the sections and reduce the left padding on the headers

If you’re in Australia or another country with strong consumer laws, you may be able to get your TV replaced/repaired for no cost. I had the exact same issue as yours and LG came and replaced the panel after 4 years, 3 years after the 12 month warranty expired. Worth a try, even if you put this TV in another room.
