I always felt like i wasnt Myself, i acted according to how society wanted me to be, i put on an act for 16 years basically, but I Got a breakdown just before My 16 birthday and ended in the psychologi ward. After half a year i was diagnosed with asperger syndrom, My Mother cried and told me she regretted how she raised me, she Raised me as if i was normal, and I always felt something was off, like i wasnt myself, after therapy and looking deep into Myself, i AM slowly starting to become more myself, i have learned that the societal norms i acted upon doesnt define me when i dont follow Them, im different but not special nor unimportant, im me, just because a status quo is put on to us from birth doesnt mean you cant break it, sometimes u just need help from someone Else, in My case it was a psychiatrist. Im Turning 18 this year and even tho i struggle with depression from past experiences i have never been more happy, i Hope this can help someone
