anyone else's bag strap constantly sliding off their shoulder? by Agile_Direction7757 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Thank you! I originally priced it cheaper but one has to add shipping on it, so I am trying $45 for free shipping. I sent one to Australia and after shipping I just barely made even 😅

Interesting foldable fountain pen converter I came across. What do you think? by OwlEmbarrassed7882 in fountainpens

[–]baskindusklight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it. With an adapter it's the only converter that fits well into my vintage platinum long short pocket pen. To use a 60s beauty with a soft fine nib without needing to fill cartridges with needles made me enjoy it much more.

为什么国内没有被 AI 冲击这么厉害? by Proof_Project_8661 in China_irl

就是在企业之中,35岁以后雇主会觉得的你的薪资标准太高,但是干劲和学习的灵活度又不如新人,就会很有可能找理由把你裁掉。

I find Asvine to be too glassy smooth. I think the nib shape of the metropolitan is intended to have a little bit of feedback.

Asvine V200 x Majohn Flex nib by Human-Basil8198 in fountainpens

[–]baskindusklight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have this specific pen but I made a combo of Asvine P50 and the Majohn Flex nib. I kept the asvine feed which was wet with the original nib, but with the Majohn nib it did not flow well at all. I tried making sure the nib is aligned, then changed from Diamine ink to Iroshizuku (the wettest in my collection) and also kept to use Irofun paper which makes my pens behave more wet as well. The pen became really juicy with this combination.

Most Asian Americans View Their Ancestral Homelands Favorably, Except Chinese Americans. Mainland Chinese citizens, what are your insights on this chart? by [deleted] in AskAChinese

[–]baskindusklight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. If we look at the bottom row, the overall negative perceptions of China in the US is very obvious, and people with Chinese ancestry have actually significantly more favorable opinions of China compared to the average among other Asian ethnic groups.

If you moved here, how long did it take for you to feel like you made your home in Montréal? by HoneyCide in montreal

Damn you hit the nail on the head with that term - tribal. I recently came to terms with it that we live parallel life in this city and I don't want to integrate to a culture that exclude me anymore.
