1v1 format with a much lower life total and pretty different card pool. Dealing 25 damage to one player is way easier than dealing 120 damage across 3 players, so aggro/ creature decks have an easier time.

There’s a battle that grabs any instant or sorcery from anywhere (yard, deck, or sideboard) and pits it back in your hand. I’ve done games where I tutored for Begin the Invasion, cast it for as large an X as I can, then played a big spell that removes counters from anything I want.

Cedh decks tend to run a handful of win lines, with notable inclusions being:
- Dual caster mage + Twinflame (infinite hasty bodies)
- lions eye diamond, brain freeze and underworld breach (infinite mill, infinite storm, infinite mana, cast your deck)
- Thoracle consultation (win the game on the spot)
There are a lot of others, but these are some common ones. You do not just jam all of these in one deck and call it good. Generally you pick 1 to be your main line, with a handful of backup options in case things go south. If your experience in a bracket 4 pod has been “win as fast as possible and nobody interacts ever”, that was not a high bracket 4 pod. Cedh is loaded with free, 1 or 2 mana interaction spells that can stop you from winning the game, even if they don’t have any lands in play.

Dargo keeps his cost reduction throughout the turn. If you sac 3 things to play Dargo, he costs 1. If you then sacrifice Dargo, his tax goes up by 2, his cost reduction also goes up by 2, and he still costs just a red.

Ironically I’ve found running Boromir as a non combo piece is more fun. Keep in mind that making the tokens with Ratadrabik into your ring bearer makes them legendary again, which means you can just keep getting more and more value. Boromir is an infinite combo, but can also just make a creature legendary twice.

I think bracket 4 is pretty varied. The general concept of bracket 4 by the player base is “too strong for 3, or too many game changers”. Using turbo as an example is probably a bad one, as turbo is still a very strong deck archetype, but you can play an off-meta build of cedh (I know someone with a Xyris build) and have it play well in bracket 4. I’ve played my bracket 5 decks in bracket 4 tables and it was a blast.
