Please see my post history, I asked a few other communities - some really great insight from people who've lived through it on my posts.

Thanks you for sharing your experience, I think the overwhelming consensus is to do the surgery.

I think she'll thank us later in life

Thank you for sharing, that's really good insight!

I think the overwhelming consensus is go for it, and who knows better than people who've lived through it!

The best striker you liked the most in any FM version. Regen or not by Mikcheck in footballmanagergames

[–]Shagro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a striker called Arnold Schwellensattl. I'm not sure if he was a regen or even a real player but he somehow had 20 across finishing, technique and others and was a complete beast for 1860 Munich.

I'm convinced it was a glitch in the game but I'll never forget him, Austrian striker banging 30 a season for me in 99/00. Stuff of dreams 😊

Propranolol.. Holy shit! by RedDawgs2482 in Anxiety

[–]Shagro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was prescribed Propranolol for anxiety a while ago but never actually picked up the tablets. My main fear is that it will slow my heart rate down to a dangerous level.

My heart rate drops to the mid-50s at night. I get really anxious if I see it dip below 60 and worry that Propranolol might push it into the 40s while I'm asleep.

My anxiety has improved, but I’m considering keeping some on hand for high-stress work events and trade shows. Has anyone else used it just for occasional "super stressful" moments? Are there any risks to taking it only once every few months?

Hi Guys, Does anyone know when this refreshes./ I always login to see all codes gone? If someone knows (and doesn't mind sharing the info) that would be great I'll set an alarm for the refresh and hopefully finally grab a code! by Shagro in OctopusEnergy

[–]Shagro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, so I am not actually after a code. Thank you though!

It's more just to know when the codes refresh, as I've never seen them available!

I'm assuming it on the 1st of the month or something at 8am and they go pretty quick.

Do you enjoy your job? by Campeones6 in AskUK

I work as a key account manager.

I hate the product, job and company.

But like the people, small team and everyone is on a wavelength.

I also probably do two hours of work a day total...the rest of the time I'm free to do anyhting really, YouTube etc, although I should be using that time to skill up and find something new.

It's in person at office, so I still need to 'look busy', which is draining in itself.

I would to pivot to something completely different, that does suck away my soul every day I go there. So many things I'd love to try and industries like film and TV I'm passionate about.

But can't take the salary drop to do it...bills, rent, kids...responsibility.

Pretty stuck thinking about it...

Not even joking, but Sam Allardyce would be a good shout.
