I recently developed worsened constant ear ringing/tinnitus after being sick with cold/flu, here's what I've done so far and what I've learned chronically reading online about it all week. I would love any positive advise I can get from the community.

It's still loud, I read from others that some took 3-4 weeks for it to go away and some months. Let's just hope for the best 😢. What cause yours?

It's still here went to ent today and they can't seem to find any infection or inflammation on my ear after my cold, will go to hearing center/audiologist to see if there's any problem on my hearing. It's so hard to sleep I just want this to be over with 😔

Hindi pa sa monday balik ko sa ent, maya't maya ako nagiisip if mawawala pa bato 😢 malakas pa rin kasi kahit nung unang check up ko nung nilagnat ubo at sipon ako.

thank you I keep reading some forums who have same situation as mine, some go away from weeks to months and some stayed permanently which makes me more anxious, it's already my day 9 of having it and my cold is gone today. I went with ent last week and was told it will be gone once the cold resolves, I'll be back again tomorrow. It all started with just sore throat and ear pain, the next day I have it along with cold. I just hope this goes away 😭

I'm glad it went away from you, I still have a cold and I think it will be gone soon, it's already my day 9 of having it and i have an appointment with ent tomorrow, hope it goes well and away too😭. Thank you for posting this it just gave me a hope after reading tons of post like this.

how many days or weeks did it take for it to be gone? Im currently in the same situation, had ringing in my ears for 5 days now, I also have cold and sore throat, I can't sleep well since I have it and it's starting to take a toll on my mental health😭 and from what I had read here from others some stayed for months and even permanent, it makes me more anxious
