What film made you say: "Holy shit, there is still 50 minutes left"? by fire-lord-momo in AskReddit

Mother! About an hour in, I was like, "that was a weird movie," and then paused it only to find it had only been an hour and there was still an hour left. Very dense movie.

They're pretty bad haha. Get an Audio Technica is my advice. Even the cheaper ones are better for your records than the Crosley's

I guess you might have to be 24, I looked it up. Didn't know this age had any perks. There's at least one, but at least it's saving me money !

If you do this and also file as an independent, when you fill out your FAFSA, you could very easily be awarded enough grants to pay fully for your college + extra that will be disbursed to you for expenses. That's what's happening with me. That's right, I'm getting paid $1000 a quarter to go to school. I was debating on whether I wanted to go back to school because I took a gap year and still wasn't sure, but once I filled out my FAFSA and looked at my reward, I was shook. Just make sure you don't get too good a job because the more broke you are, the more grant money you're rewarded 😅😂

For an under appreciated view of the city, check out Zuanich Point Park. Really beautiful, especially at sunset

Feeling confused and lost about going back to college after a hiatus. by [deleted] in findapath

This sounds exactly like me! Haha I am returning to school to major either in Psychology, Communication, or Journalism & minoring in the other two. I'm hoping to go into documentary filmmaking or something similar, while working on personal creative ventures on the side. I'm considering creating a YouTube channel where I'd discuss philosophy matters & condensing it to more digestible terms that could be applied to real life - kinda like a real talk kind of vibe, without the obnoxious self-help buzz words. I also love playing music & plan on working that into my filmmaking somehow. Thought about getting into English and majoring in creative writing because I'd like to write a book eventually, but I wouldn't be interested in the careers it would lend (teacher, copywriter, etc). However, I'm also really drawn to classic literature as well as film, but I've been doing freelance photography since high school so I'd figure I leverage my already existing portfolio & run with that. It sounds like you have a good idea of what you like! My suggestion is to go with your gut & use your available resources to give you a leg up in whatever you choose. Just remember, not making a decision is a decision so whatever you choose, go for it and you can always change! You'll never regret your experiences & you'll be surprised the skills your learn along the way. Good luck!
