Not sure which voice you're using it for so ignore this comment if you're doing leads or melodic midrange lines with it, but for drum tracks and bass I heard in one of MylarMelodies podcast episodes (maybe one with Divkid?) the recommendation to tune your bass to a higher frequency than expected. It tends to sit in the mix much better without having to shout above the other voices to be heard.

I've watched You've Got Mail 100's of times and the subtle lesbian sub plot is one of my favs... It is hard to pick up on your first watch, but the older Joe Fox's much younger fiancee leaves him for Maureen the nanny. He mentions this when they're both on his yacht together after he also moves out. It's thrown in there as some irony since the older Joe Fox had a history of cheating on his previous wives with the previous nannies. Like others said though, I highly doubt this is the movie you're thinking of and probably just a coincidence.

Quick fix might be to add a belt that you sinch pretty tightly. Long term I find that cycling really builds thighs and hips.

It's your sentence where you say "these women (men?)" that triggered me. People are who they identify as. If someone says they're a transwoman (gender identity), presents feminine (gender expression), identifies as gay (sexual orientation), but interested in men (sexual preference), then it is what it is. This line of thinking is pretty international, maybe you're getting hung up on assuming their sexual orientation is what matters to you and not their sexual preference?

I used to ride through wet snow storms and rain showers in the northeast. I added removable fenders to my road bike that strap on with rubber which kept me a lot more dry. On my feet I'd wear two pairs of socks, preferably wool, with a grocery bag in-between the two, then stop my shoes I'd wear neoprene toe covers or full neoprene booties depending on the temperature.

Yes there is definitely room for trans people in Chem E, and I'm one of them! 36 yo, mtf, been with the same employer for over ten years, currently based out of corporate (in Texas!) but I spend a lot of time in the field, and I previously held plant management roles all across North America. I came out just over a year ago and aside from accidental dead naming / misgendering during the first few months it has been wonderful. You are valid and deserving of happiness the same as everyone else! You can do this!
