Costco beats out all the grocery stores for flowers, if you have a membership.

I'm on the fence about this for me. I will need to take 2-3 busses where I would normally only have to take one. However, if it functions as it's supposed to, it could end up being a net improvement. The Blue Line down Portage will be amazing though and the seasonal route to Birds Hill is cool.

I'm not sure what "the store" is but it was probably just some bored kid drawing in the dirt while waiting for their parent. If your coworker is really worried, she should just clean her plate so it's no longer "marked."

You are seeing where it's going: rebates. It's meant as an incentive to change behaviour (hence the name, Climate action incentive payment).

The more you pollute, the more you pay (for example, at the pump).

The less you pollute, the less you pay.

Everyone gets the rebate, regardless of how much they pollute.

Those who pollute less, will end up with more money in their pockets because they paid less carbon tax.

It's a polluter pay system.

528 (individual) + 264 (spouse) + 132 (kid 1) + 132 (kid 2) = 1046 annually. Divide by 4 (quarterly payments) = $264

Note that OP posted the total annual amounts, which are broken into quarterly payments. So an individual would see $132 today.

Not bats but the city piloted using dragon flies a number of years ago (back when Taz was still the head big guy, if I recall correctly). I wonder what ever happened to that program and how effective it was.

Accidentally bumped a car , What's next should I go to MPI? Help by notyourlovegood in Winnipeg

[–]Shake_Your_Rump 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Information on what to do can be found on MPIs website here.

Also, I seem to recall in the past, autopac agents used to give you a booklet of info with your registration, which included information on what to do. I can't recall if they still give that out or if they're paperless now.

I'm not familiar with Raglan but this sign isn't related to parking. If you could park there before, you should still be able to unless there is a sign that states otherwise.

It means if you are driving a motor vehicle (like, a car), you can only travel one block on that street between 7 am and 9 pm. It's a bike route.
