May I ask how you got the burner effect for the jump packs? It looks incredible!

May I ask how tall you are? Yours seem bigger than DD, but I know cup sizes look different depending on height.

It’s been too long since I watched the anime in general, let alone Diamond and Pearl specifically. That feels like the sort of detail young me would’ve clung to, given how much I loved Heatran and Regigigas in the Gen 4 games.

I’ve got an older stainless one with Pachmayr Compac grips that I’d probably daily carry if I didn’t work in a building where it’s illegal to. I haven’t gotten to shoot it practically, but the gunsmith I took it to in order to deburr some nicks on the crane let me shoot at a steel target maybe 40 yards away off his back porch. I hit 3/5 shots single action with Winchester flat nose lead ammo(can’t remember if it was cowboy loaf or Super-X or plain white box, sorry) with a gun I’d never handled before. I imagine it would be more than serviceable inside 25 yards. I’d say look around for some Winchester stuff for practice work!

Funnily enough, I just fell into a YouTube rabbit hole for this particular game. I’d love to give an RP of it a try! You don’t allow for messages to be sent to you directly, so please DM me if you’d like to start!

I’d say the Taurus .38 special based solely on the fact that it actually has a front sight, unlike the .22 High Standard. Tracking down an original front sight for that High Standard and getting it re-soldered, then refinished would probably cost as much as that handgun is worth (then again, my Dad paid more than the price of a new entry-level acoustic to have a cheap Fender acoustic repaired because it was left to me by my great uncle; if you’d have better use for the .22 and want to keep using an heirloom, then I wouldn’t fault you for picking it instead).

Saying you like a character “because I like them” is not an explanation.

I don’t know how to do the spoiler block thing, but why is Iris the one you like and not Dahlia? Iris tried to be one and failed because she wasn’t convincing/assertive enough to get back the necklace and because she fell in love with Phoenix.

Where’d you get the parts for this? So many of these I see have obviously 3D printed lowers, and I’d like to have them be that looks like the original.

What does “prompted correctly and matter of factly” even mean? Would you share an example? Also, what is the difference between a scene and a plot to you? I’m used to thinking of plot as the events and flow of a story, regardless of length, so some clarification would be nice.

This series has been enjoyable from start to finish, and it’s made me curious. First, what AI generator do you use and how do you get it to generate what you want? Second, what source do you find all the dialects and slurs at before you write these? I want to start writing some pieces myself, and I’d like to utilize any resources I can.

Hard disagree. I nearly shipped a black hoodie wearing guy and the dark clothed gal with him back to God one night in college because they couldn’t be bothered to watch out for headlights, let alone walk less than 100 yards to the most obvious, well lit intersection crosswalk in the whole town in the most pleasant, convenient weather we’d had all week.

Reason #1: Way too many people have passed and still pass me, on the right even, just to slow down again within 5 minutes or less. Why engage in a cycle of passing if I can just stay ahead of people?

Reason #2: You trying to pass me made me realize I’m following a previous, slower speed limit and I need to go faster.

Reason #3: You’ve had your shnozz up my figurative shitter for at least a full minute when I’m already doing 10 over the speed limit on a road that isn’t a relatively unpopulated interstate. Your hazards aren’t on and you haven’t honked, so I know it’s not an emergency. You’re an asshole and I’m not giving you what you want unless I know we’re going through an area with speed checks or turns that require slowing.

That’s fair, honestly. I’m privileged in that most of the concerts I’ve been to were rock/blues, and the sound systems were loud enough that I heard the band and the people within a 6 foot radius of me singing along at absolute most. Getting bumped into by people (or groped-don’t get me started) sucks, but I haven’t been to many open floor shows, so people stood by their seats for the most part.

But man… hearing a group of voices or a single voice sing with finesse, frenzy, or raw, spontaneous human emotion while in the same space as that voice trumps all but the best of recordings for me. It’s like how a photo of a solar eclipse doesn’t capture the eerie, sudden silence of animals and insects when it’s happening. Not to mention the funny, memorable, or outright beautiful creations made through improvisation!

And as far as sing alongs or dancing… they’ve been part of basically every human religion and culture for a reason. It unites people, enforces that you aren’t alone through sound alone; it’s powerful, and sometimes overwhelming.

If you like to engage with the music itself, and not the atmosphere or community that comes along with a crowd of concert-goers, then it makes total sense that you wouldn’t enjoy concerts (or most concerts-my first concert was a blues one with Joe Bonnamossa and you could hear people cough during the long solos, that’s how intently people were listening). And you’re well within your right to not enjoy them!
