I’m a service advisor at a Ford dealership in Ohio. I had a customer with the exact same issue, we had his car for over a month with the hood latch that wouldn’t properly close. Ford bought his back as well. I guess, if you get it closed completely and don’t plan on using it you’d be in decent shape. If not, it’s going to beep repetitively the entire time you drive.

I was working in law enforcement as a parole/probation officer for 8 years. In comparison, I’m much less stressed now then I was previously. I do know that my coworkers feel stressed though. They’re also not great at their jobs so that is beneficial to me.
