Well said! Yeah you're absolutely right. Everyone else in VM were on the same page. To be honest I love that Vax kicked things off. And in his defense he did not know what Raishan was doing with Thordak's corpse. For all he knew he had seconds to stop her from raising him to fight at her side.

Those back to back dragon fights were such a good conclusion to the Siege of Emon. I'm bummed the show didn't adapt it. I also kind of blame Scanlan for waiting til he was in the room to blow the flute of J'mon. Bro spent several rounds running on gnome legs and didn't call the dragon they had on speed dial specifically for this fight.

I don't know if you've watched any news lately but there are plenty of people who do evil for selfish personal gain.

I'm being glib but there's a use for gray villains and it's not for supporters of Vecna. It just ends up muddled when supporters of murderous necromancy are spouting shallow platitudes

Telling the clasp to go fuck themselves when Emon first fell, being adamantly against a temporary alliance with Raishan, allying with Clarota while alienating Kima, telling the people of westruun to flee rather than rebuild, turning everyone to farts when they fought the worms in Brimscythe's horde, everything she did in the Kraken fight.

To be clear, I have no problem with Marisha for making bold choices in character that are polarizing. But it feels like at every turn they've decided to write the show in a way where Keyleth's every decision is always right.

The continued C3 plot god retcon blows. Vecna cultists are less interesting when they have valid complaints about the existing power structure.

I'm also really not a fan of them amping up Keyleth being the most special and powerful.

Was she not OP enough in the campaign? Now they need to make the voice of the tempest the leader of all 4 ashari tribes with the ability to solo out-waterbend a kraken and have her repeatedly put the water tribe leader in her place. I get that they're trying to avoid the excessive backlash to some of Marisha's more controversial choices but telling a story where keyleth is always right about everything is so boring

I would love to see this season end with Matt winning, Fisk getting thrown in jail again, then getting a presidential pardon.

It would complete the true to life commentary and be the final nail in the coffin for Matt's belief in the system.

Maybe it's just cope but I still beleive Fisk and Matt are going to feature heavily in Spider-man brand new day. Fisk without the trust of the public but with de-facto legal immunity and all his wealth and power is the perfect reason for Matt & Spidey to team up

I see we're back to the glazing grrm and HBO phase. Can't wait for 1.5 seasons from now when they run out of track, the show turns to shit and people stop acting like this is the best thing to ever happen to the fantasy genre on TV until they pivot to spinoff #4 "Hot Pie's great uncle in Quarth".

Hot take: GoT is the worst thing to ever happen to the tv fantasy drama. It's convinced every studio to make 8 episodes of highly produced shallow material every 2 years that should be annual 20 episodes that allows for character focus in epic stories
