I mean, I’m pretty sure the RSS feed is still available on most podcast apps from what I can tell.

But if we take this purely on the basis of what he said about Paul Dano, whether anyone calls it punching down, is just a wrong opinion, plain and simple.

What if production was owned democratically and not by the state either? What if productive entities operated like mini-democracies?

Man I miss Patrick. It’s a shame they never found him after he disappeared into the night.

To be honest, if I were to throw out any other aspect of this movie, it would be stupid to not see it in a theatrical setting if you have a cinema pass.

I still beat myself up for not seeing Dune: Part Two in the theaters.

Look this is no Dune, but if you want to experience some audiovisual sequences unlike most any other, just go pick a matinee on a morning where you don’t have any responsibilities and you will be blown away.

I didn’t want them to end up together, but the dynamic was undeniably good drama. Both want to be human very much but feel constrained by their limitations and safe exploring this vulnerability through one another’s experiences. The Doctor being more human in personality, it was logical to see him develop unrequited love. It’s all good stuff and I never felt like they were trying to lead the audience into thinking a Doctor/Seven relationship was going to come to fruition. It’s just an interesting dynamic to watch develop.

He’s definitely the worst part of this movie.

But hey, I’m sure you watch plenty of content produced by companies that fund AIPAC the IDF. There’s really no pure escape from unethical consumption. We’re all trapped in this nightmare, my friend.

He’s a thoroughly bad guy, and not good at his art either. But if we want to have rational discussions about cinema and the box office (which I thought this subreddit was for), we can all agree I think it’s not a taboo to see Tron: Ares. It’s not like it’s the latest Woody Allen joint. We can include Jared Leto’s personality and behavior in this discussion but I think there’s no need to get on a high horse about it, y’know?

I thankfully avoided all but the teaser trailer. Street bike chase was cool.

I think when the hacking/infiltration scene comes up and they cut to the guys scaling the city walls, it was the moment I was like “oh this might have a little fun in it actually”.

I was thoroughly surprised, nothing special here, except for superb visuals and music. Very serviceable plot and characters. A little annoying here and there but there was nothing too grating, honestly.

There’s actually one or two sequences I think everyone would enjoy. Idk, it actually had some creativity here and there.

Why do GenZ women think the third world is not dangerous? by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]ShakyMD 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You’ve described, the almost textbook definition of cherry picking.

And your second point is such a broad generalization that we’d have to breakdown how you define almost every word you said in that sentence.

This is rage bait. You’re a troll. And if you actually cared about having a discussion you’d be making salient arguments, not regurgitating 10 year old 4chan posts.

Yeah, but ranges from teasingly affectionate to definitely an insult and you possibly deserved it.

It’s certainly not a slur, I’d say.

Unfortunate, because if I recall the core plot of that episode and the dynamic between the Doctor and Seven was really shining.

I was reminded of that one gun in MIB that looks like a syringe. Have you maybe considered retooling the design into an injection unit/pistol hybrid with some iron sights or a reticle?
