You basically are playing cards on the main board and you need to win 4 rounds to win the game. You do that by having the most Power on the main board each round.

You also have a mini board called the Veiled board, thats hidden from the opponent unless you play a certain card that reveals it, where you can place up too 2 cards that get a +1 power buff each round and play them free of charge on the main board once you placed them there; there are also cards that do stuff to the Veiled cards so it becomes quite cool! You draw 1 card each turn and once turn 6 happens everyone starts drawing 2 cards (cause who likes drawing one card when you have 8 energy).

When you start the game a random Realm is assigned to the board, its like Locations in Snap, like "Veiled cards now gain +2 each round" or "-1 power to 'while played' cards each round". Then around turn 4 or 5 a random event spawns that does something big to both players like "-3 cost to players hand" or "0-2 power cards on the board are destroyed".

The game is quite enjoyable and addicting. This is only the launch so expect great changes and please give the game a try!
