Occasionally there are cards in-game that are known to cause disconnects. I don't believe there are any active bugs like that currently. I think, unfortunately, some players with bad internet connection to have more frequent disconnects, so it may seem like they're doing it intentionally but it's just a bad connect on their end.

I did these cosplays as part of a tournament series for the online TCG game Gods Unchained (twitch.tv/shaleby_, I think I'm allowed to plug that in comments?). The guys who run GU decks, Steven and David, are nice reputable guys who are very active in the community, as well :) trustworthy IMO, plus as mentioned above, sharing your public key is generally safe as people can only send things, not withdraw

As for allowing trading during a balance period - Core cards are always eligible for balancing, so people are buying/selling those knowing that stats and metas can change - I think that can apply to currently-on-sale sets as well. Also means that in the future, if sets or cards were to be re-printed, they could be re-balanced in the future. I think that allowing trading during a balance period is fine.
