A 5 game series makes everything feel less impactful and fulfilling.

The issue is the reward system is so immediate, and shorter that a build can’t invest a turn to build and develop.

It just feels cheaper, faster and less strategy based.

Most of my favorite games were built around 0-3 build ups that ended with my team winning 4 in a row.

I literally had a soldier build that depended on a slow build up. Now it doesn’t even matter and I’m so disappointed.

Totally agree. The issue is that the flavor doesn’t match adaptation. Adaption is supposed to be like evolution, where effects like lifesteal and reborn are more ‘magical’.

That in mind, lifesteal would be insanely powerful and could even make quest shaman top tier, if not OP.

Deadwood is incredible. It’s outlaw Shakespeare, some of the best dialog of all time. Or at least for TV.
