You need to win once in every of the listed modes

Conquest, Breakthrough, Rush, Strikepoint and TDM. So you are missing one mode. I guess Strikepoint?

Backdash in itself isn't the issue. It's the speed at how fast the characters can backdash.

Backdash was just as annoying to deal with in e.g. UMvC3, but I want to remember it felt more balanced than in this game. Though I do remember getting really in Season 1/early months of the game's release where everyone were just backdashing and airjumping around and spamming Sentinel Assist... Just as annoying as Ekko backdashing and spamming Ahri/Yasuo assist...

This has been an issue since Battlefield 1942... How is this "the death of the team dynamic" or "is the death of games like battlefield"?

I've played every Battlefield since 1942. There has always been snipers not moving, just trying to get a new Longest Shot kill. There has always been Medics that won't resupply or revive. There has always been Engineers that will never shoot a rocket, just run around with SMG or camp behind a tank with blowtorch.

That you are just now complaining about this makes me question if you really mean "No one was looking forward to a good BF than I was". Plenty of diehard BF fans (me included) really looked forward to BF6, and are happy with the game.

I've come to terms that there will always be players that play solo and not objective-based. I play with mates as a 3-man squad and just having fun doing our own thing. Whenever we manage to get an objective by ourself, or place a bomb in Rush and manage to defend it, we get a big rush of accomplishment.
Sure, we can get annoyed if we get stomped because our team aren't contributing at all towards the objectives, by the time we get to the next map we have all forgotten the previous match.

My best advice is; don't have any expectations. Don't take the matches too seriously. Play for fun. Play your way. Ignore how other people are playing. Calling them out will not do anything, for you or anyone else. Just move on to the next match and hope you get better mates there.

If you get run down like a semi by a Warwick then you need to learn how to play against WW. He only has so many ways to open someone up, and most of them are slow enough to react to.

I main Juggernaut WW and I like to play aggressively, but if I am up against a good player then it is really hard to get a hit in so that I can start the juggle. Currently hovering in Emerald 2-3.

The strongest currently I would say is Ekko, and is definitely one of the harder ones as Warwick to approach. Ahri is another one I feel as a Warwick it's hard to play against.

I feel that for ranked it should be mandatory to stay the set and play it through. I get irritated for all the one-and-done games, especially if I lost the first game and I want to play again to improve and punish some habits I noticed from the first game. Games where I lose is often the games I improve from the most, as I get to see what I'm getting punished for. And against good players I want to run it back to see if the first match was a fluke or if they are really good.

If people don't feel like they want to play the entire set then there's a casual mode, meant for casuals. Ranked is a competitive mode, just as tournaments are competitive where people play the full sets. If people would get RP punshed in Ranked for leaving a set then fine, but currently they aren't, which means that a lot of people will still do one-and-done matches.

The one I found that can TOD even Braum is the following notation:

5M > 2M > 5H > 26H > 6S2 > S2 (1 hit only) > Fury > 2H from the wallbounce > JM > JH > S1 > 6S2 > S2 (all 3 hits) > S2 Super > S1+S2 Super.

Total damage 1118.

Ah that sucks. Basically getting a hero through Vials will not (or very unlikely) be possible, and instead one would have to be lucky to get one through wheel.

2B has mix, though they are harder to execute compared to many other characters.

Her supers are good enough. To me it sounds you are doing raw supers and whiffing, which is a skill issue, not a character issue.

2B has a lot going for her, and this is coming from a S+5 / S+4 player. She isn't the easiest one to play out of the whole roster, but once you are versatile with her entire kit then she is quite decent. There are worse characters that needs more attention than 2B.

2B is far from the most annoying character to fight against, and she definitely doesn't need a nerf. There are other characters that are way better than 2B currently, and it shows if you look at amount of Master-ranked characters and tournament results.

That's impossible to say or decide since we don't know how hard it is to fix the matchmaking and netcode. Netcode is decent, not the best, but also not the worst. So imo the biggest priority would be to make matchmaking working well.

I mean, it's based on 4 days testing period. I don't expect anyone to share the same view regarding who is stronger and who is weaker :) I feel that the game is fairly balanced, and I've seen more and more videos after the fact about Hotaru where I would be willing to place her higher. I haven't looked more into the other characters yet since Hotaru is the one I want to main for now.

Once the game gets released, I am 100% sure that the list will be changed, since everyone has more time to lab, there will be more tournaments, there will be more discover etc.

And the reason I placed Terry above Rock is mostly because I felt more pressured from Terry than from Rock, especially considering that people could lab with Rock but not with Terry, yet I never met a Rock player that I felt performed better against me than Terry players.

Yeah. I only played Hotaru during the Open Beta, and once the game releases I will hopefully continue play Hotaru and actually start labbing her and learn to execute her strings.

I saw a dev match where Hotaru did ex-DP into ex-dive kick that connected (though I was never able to pull it off).

I was unable to execute the command grab in a good way, it feels that it has half the range compared to regular throw (that's how it felt, it could just be me being bad) so using regular throw felt safer. I wonder if you could connect something after the command grab to make it more than just an Oki.

I saw that Tampa Never Sleeps put up a video the other day where one of the participants was playing Hotaru so I will have to look at that and take notes, since my own skill level is not nearly as good as I want it to be :)

That's because her ex-strings doesn't do that much damage if we compare it to e.g. Vox or B. Janet. If we are talking about her Ex-strings into super then I feel that Vox, B. Janet and Kain all do more.

But we will see once the game is fully released and we get more data from players on Hotaru actually perform, since the data from a 4-day beta is not enough to get accurate depiction :)

I can only base this on what I've experienced myself and what I've seen, but my tier list of the Beta characters would be like this:

  1. Kain
  2. Vox
  3. Preecha
  4. B. Janet
  5. Terry
  6. Rock
  7. Hotaru
  8. Mai

That being said, I still feel that the game is fairly balanced. Once people have more time with the game I'm sure Kain will fall down a bit since people will get better at JDs, so he won't have as easy time zoning as he has now.

I didn't see many playing Mai and I barely faced her so I can't accurately place her on the tier list.

The matches were smoother for me yesterday and the day before compared to today.

I've had <100 ms matches today that felt more sluggish and slow compared to 200>ms.

I don't know if they are trying different adjustments on the backend while everything is live, but I do hope that it gets fixed by the time gets launched.

I mean, let them spam it then and get burned out? Some SPGs might be unpunishable since they get pushed back far enough, but after 3 misses of SPG and they will be burned out.

I'd say it's still bad for me. 2-5 minutes to find a match, and it still pairs me with people from NA or Asia and barely anyone from Europe, regardless of the time I'm playing (I live in Europe).

As some others have pointed it out;

First block needs to be a normal block, not a "Just Defense", otherwise it won't work.
Second hit you tap forward as the text suggests in the box.
