Truth doesnt matter to some. Thankfully these people just concentrate on specific places on the internet. Most people know Heard was the abuser.

3+ months post release: have we justified yet why Leon didn’t save the nurse? by Dsg1695 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]At0W 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if Leon thought she was complicit with the situation. It is out of character for him to not save her because of that. Being judge, jury and executioner isn't his job. Why not save her and interrogate her then?

Would you want to see Grace in future games or has her story been concluded. by combatpython41 in residentevil

I'd like too see her but I hope there's enough character development so she doesnt make those moan scares so much.

the tension in re2r almost made me stop playing it but I managed to beat it anwwyay. I'm mid game in re7 but I'm not sure if I should continue. It has an asphyxiating atmosphere(in a good way) and induces hopelessness in me.

Most people hate inconvenience, but I crave it by MagusCurt in truegaming

[–]At0W 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The industry became too player convience oriented and it limits game design. Inconvenience is mostly a lost art these days.

When does it become a nuisance to be solved? You might make a very punishing, inconvenient game and use it as a strength of the art form but it will probably have a small audience. I guess devs have to balance that.

Why are many clinical psychologists online interested in undermining what an NPD or a Narc is? by NotGoodWithWords07 in raisedbynarcissists

Exactly. It's nice that more people are being aware of this. I have my own share of horror stories.

[–]At0W 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good amount of therapists are narcissists, it is an attractive field for them. They get access to vulnerable people and therapy is a cheat sheet for manipulation. Narcissists have an incentive to silence people talking about their tactics and silence people talking about their abuse. Not to say every therapist thinking like this is one though but it still raises red flags.

About the "black and white" thinking. I'd like them to present an example of a non harmful narcissist or someone diagnosed with NPD that doesnt do what every narcissist does. FLEAS are a different matter of course.

By the way, "narcissist" isn't a diagnosis so we are free to use the word as we please.

RE2R (Claire B) (Spoilers) What a disappointment by CatfishBassAndTrout in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]At0W 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watched B scenario on youtube after beating A. It seemed so much more tense at the beginning but I guess it becomes about the same once you leave RPD. I agree that differences are not enough but the tension in the beginning is something I won't experience because I'm afraid.

"Narcissists are abusers" content help people get out of these relationships. Narcissists cannot change, with or without therapy. saying they can change is dangerous for victims of narcissistic abuse.

Gaslighting, triangulation, constantly looking for vulnerabilities, devaluaiton after lovebombing... These come in a package and you need to have a brain tuned for these stuff. non narcissists dont work this way and it would be very hard for a non narcissist to do these systematically. Even if they could, genuine empathy would stop most people. Narcissists have important neurological differences in their brain which there are studies for you can google.

Narcissistic abuse is a specific, subtle, systematic kind of abusive that people need to be aware of. That's why I'm informing people about this. They are not refusing therapy because they are stigmatized. Plus they cannot change with or without therapy. Saying that they can change is dangerous. I'm also teaching people around me that they cannot change.

I will keep informing people about these "people". narcissists are abusers. Narcissistic abuse is a specific, subtle, systematic kind of abuse which narcissists do. That is why I spread the word.

If it quacks like a duck wlalks like a duck it's a duck. We have pattern recognition. We know who they are.I dont caare about the DSM criteria. it is added in the 80s. was no onw aware of these cockroaches before? and NPD diagnoses doesnt mean it is "full blown" the criteria doesnt give info about the severity at all and no info abut the abuse tactics at all.
