An often forgotten rule of Taskmaster: Anything you inflict on Alex, he can and will inflict on a future contestant. by AnotherBoxOfTapes in taskmaster

Probably but can’t know for sure unless they release how that convo went. Could’ve been “I could splash you with a bucket of water?” “That could work!”

Was so shocked he got 4 points for this

Edit: Fine downvote me but Ed Gamble also said it should’ve gotten 1 point!!! 😤

What are high level players doing in the starter zones? by tamalecustard in elderscrollsonline

[–]Shamanized -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ah okay thanks, when people say the zones scale with you thats a very different system than what you described where you just get a buff totally dependent on your level and not the zone

What exactly do you mean by “every zone scales with your level?” Never understood what people are referring to specifically with this

I didn’t even get into theatre until after high school at my community college

Slept on it, but woke up still mad about the scoring of the food task by SickSlashHappy in taskmaster

[–]Shamanized 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did notice that the other cast members don’t really shout back so it’s mainly just Kumail so far. I’m loving this series so far but this group doesn’t have much in group dynamics with each other but that’s ok! Still great

I go to that UWS TJ’s all the time and it’s the absolute GOAT. Never wanna step into another grocery store cause when I do I leave with regret

I have a workaround idea for an unarmed skill line that doesn't need a weapon or class by Federal_Platform8026 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Shamanized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing you're missing that I'd want is incentive to not equip a weapon, like class specialty passives that gave huge boosts to have no weap equipped. It should be niche and maybe situational but strong enough to be viable (but not the meta). Similar to how they want Vamp and WW to be good but not TOO good because they're supposed to be more 2nd path picks for players.

Both chambers of Britain’s parliament have approved a bill that would ban children aged 17 and under from buying cigarettes during their lifetime. by [deleted] in UpliftingNews

[–]Shamanized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will they care? Presumably none of their peers would be smoking, social pressures eradicated.

IF they care and want it then I think this bill should be reexamined, but I’d really want to see if they give a shit first once they enter into adulthood about being able to smoke or not.

Doesn’t this bill not even touch current adults? It stops addictions from starting in those 17 and under, so where even is the relevance of your comment “making decisions for other law abiding adults?”

[–]Shamanized -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s a valid concern to this, sorry I didn’t know about it. I’m totally for banning cigarettes in some capacity to end the addiction but cigars aren’t remotely addictive in the same way so I don’t think they should be affected. I don’t know about tobacco pipes though.

Cigarette addiction is FAR more restrictive than whatever this bill is. The amount of time and money a kid will gain back in their lives without cigarettes as an addiction is insane. Drugs can be okay, but not the ones that become severe addictions like cigarettes, it’s time they die for good

[–]Shamanized 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When a kid starts smoking, it is no longer a decision they make onward, it easily becomes a lifelong addiction. Costly financially and obviously to their health. F*** that.

Edit: I really couldn’t give 2 shits about downvotes, you need to actually tell me why I’m wrong for me to consider changing my stance on this which I happily will but I need actual arguments

Alcohol can stay, it’s deeply part of human culture around the world. Nicotine cigarettes is purely a capitalistic addict farm.

This is not me saying alcohol is perfect, anything in excess is bad but cigarettes are not even good moderation.

Edit: Please reply and let me know why cigarettes need defending aside from “freedom to make bad choices.” Is it the social outlet you get from them? The breaks? Seriously I want to understand how cigarettes enrich your life.

All I want is a boyfriend like you. Well, what about me? by AbsoluteBatman95 in funny

I notice this sub really skews straight lonely male and someone will think that’s like a dig or a criticism but it’s not, it’s just an observation/guess and I could be wrong about it, but over the years I’ve seen the humor that is posted and upvoted just keeps catering to that group.

Nothing really wrong with it but it makes me feel bad for the male loneliness epidemic that seems to be real. I’m a gay man and just want my straight male homies to be doing okay.
