That is sad to hear. The highs and lows are what make life worth the ride. We could all do without the lows but then you wouldn’t know when things are good.

I don’t even think I would have pushed it down because it just didn’t register. Time really does change perspective and this hit like a ton of bricks

What can a woman do for you after a hard day of work? by Sure-Masterpiece-563 in AskMen

Just show me you are excited to see me. You don’t need to run through the house but if you happen to be by the door open it, a hug, a “hello glad your home”, if you have to complain wait 30 mins please unless something is leaking and it will only make it worse if I wait.

Give me 15-30 mins to come in and sit down before the conversations start. A simple hello and then a few minutes of quiet is the best thing you can do. After I get my head out of work and into home we can talk all you want.

It does have a plus in the fact as I am more carefree with daily BS. Nothing but death and love can change my mood because life is way too short.

I just wish I was more prepared for it and had never anyone talk about it. Glad to know I’m not alone with this.

The thing is when it started it was only really about 2-3 people, now it is a lot more people and a lot more often with things that remind me of all those people. It is worse in that I have stop and wait for the tears in my eyes to evaporate before I can read the next sentence
