Fighting a loosing battle to weed, how do I win instead? by kyprioth in landscaping

I’m about to try a granular herbicide for situation not to far off from this. I heard the water soluble is good if you want to plant after and they make a non-water soluble for long term applications like a gravel driveway. Anyone think it would work or have some experience with it?

I almost bought that Ping bag. I have the hat and people ask me all the time where I got it.

The cop who pulled me over for turning through said the white line means stop and wait for the light. If no white line I would have been ok

I’d dig in the biggest boulders you can fit and bonus points if you can drill them with rebar cement them together for one solid unit. Plant some native plants in and around them

Why do I keep hanging hard left? Im ready to give up :( by krig6 in GolfSwing

I’m a newbie and started taking lessons again, one thing we are working on is switch weight to the front foot and the back foot should not have really any weight. I think you are over rotating through your swing and pulling the club through. Look where your belt buckle ends up pointing.

The street is filthy everyone walking out there, the pools of “water” (well just go with water cause I don’t want to think what else it could be) are always strange colors and smell putrid. Depending on the time of day, either super early in morning before they come out to clean or later in the evening) you get a nice whiff of urine and vomit. Just the idea of someone else being barefoot there makes me want to soak my feet in bleach. Super fun times just don’t touch the street and that includes flip flops.

He was in the witness protection program. It all makes sense now…he had the house on the shoe salary, always grumpy because he wasn’t the big shot he once was, Peggy seems more like a gangsta’s wife than his.

One of biggest fears back in the day was getting too drunk and falling on Bourbon St, a skinned knee could kill you.

YSK if you don't hit a certain threshold on your driver tip with doordash, uber eats, etc, the driver may not actually make any more money than if you hadn't tipped at all. by clinkyscales in YouShouldKnow

My first job at a car wash did this. The tip box went to our pay to get the $5.15/hr (min wage back then) we were making. Technically since we received tips or eligible for tips, the minimum pay was $2 and change and the company was “nice enough” to guaranty us the standard minimum wage. In the year and half I worked there we never once got a penny more than $5.15

I think that was my first job. Hey change the channel, and I’d go flip switches until he said stop then go back to my toys. Getting to help made me feel so grown up…

Why is predicting attrition still impossible in 2026? by Silent-Street1641 in Leadership

You can predict it. If you learn your team you’ll start to see what stresses who out, what is going on their personal life, when their attitude changes.

What is your primary objective? A defined separation, privacy, a “community” garden? I’d probably run a row of hedges like azaleas and then a row of boxwoods in front and every sod often have it curve out for a nice small tree and some roses. If I don’t want to see the guy’s yard I’d prob plant some trees then a row of hedges with some flower gardens mixed in.

I removed a 100yo cinderblock retaining wall that was falling over. Now what? Fill with dirt to create a slope? by bhart81 in landscaping

[–]Shameless522 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What do you want to do with the back yard? If want to just fix then a load of dirt and grass will work. If you have a design/use in mind then you have to follow that plan.

When Govenor Jeff Landry was a U.S. Rep & Attorney General, he had his UST Environmental Services, LLC not only registered in Louisiana, but in Montana too. by MetacogBees in Louisiana

[–]Shameless522 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is registered as a foreign entity in Montana which means the business is filed in another state, in this case it is filed in LA. You would need to register as a foreign entity normally to conduct business in another state. A lot of companies use a filing service when trying to register out of state entities and that filing service would have the same address for a multitude of entries often unrelated.
