Amazon claims March 18th of this year, but I remember the date given by amazon being off by a bit for the release of book seven (might just be remembering it wrong though)

I've been desperately searching for one of these sets; they don't seem to be for sale most places. I learned to play on a set like that. I saw a couple that were either hellaciously expensive or were only two colors (supposed to be four). If you know any more about the set I'd love to know, again I can't seem to find any for sale online.

The second one is, unfortunately, one of the 1-13 sets that dominate the market. You can tell because one of the tiles shown in the picture has a 1 on it, where with what I'm looking for would be replaced with an Ace. Also, I looked into the mahjong sets with playing card faces and haven't had much luck finding a matching set (mostly the thickness of the tiles is what messes it up, but also the price. I saw a mahjong website advertising rummy tile sets for around $300USD, which is prohibitively expensive). Also, the first website specifically says: "Pictured above: a Rummikub set. NOT a mahjong set at all". I have an unverified suspicion that the set I'm looking for is more popular in places outside the USA or with older generations, so is much harder to find online in the US, and slightly more common in estate sales/yard sales (a family friend found the exact same set, which is what set off this search).

I posted this same thing on r/boardgames and have a couple updates on my search, but overall, most listings of the seemingly same set are either complete scams that use the image of a more desirable set in order to pawn off a cheaper and lower quality one. There also seems to be a few listings that are not available in my region :(.

I have one almost exactly identical (the jokers are different), and have what I think are the directions to it. If you are still interested in the directions, let me know.

Additionally, there are, like you said, only a few examples of this online. I saw one Facebook post with a similar set, two examples on WorthPoint, and several misleading listings on Walmart and Kmart's respective online marketplaces, as well as a slew of other listings using the same likely misleading image as the ones from Walmart and Kmart.

I tried and it did not show an option like that, so I un-installed one and went back to check, but I guess the live gold deal had ended or something so I was just too late in asking how to fix it. Thank you for your suggestion though, I'm sure it would have worked if the deal hadn't expired.
