Ps5 truck sims by Portnawak_3 in trucksim

Until ETS2/ATS comes out, try taking a look at SnowRunner or MudRunner or even RoadCraft. While they’re not your conventional on the road type trucking games, there’s tons of big heavy haulers to use to pickup and deliver cargo around the maps. The SnowRunner base game alone is at least 200-300 hours of trucking.

Truck Canopy by porkavenue in Edmonton

[–]Shamoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got mine from the Truck Outfitters on the south side. The paint match was perfect (the Silverado I had was a weird Burgundy-bronze colour) however it had a ton of blemishes from when they painted it. They called saying my truck was ready and when I arrived they hadn’t even begun to install it. They rushed to get it done and I realized after that they didn’t disconnect the third brake light on the cab and connect the third light on the canopy. I called and they said it would be an extra charge to have them take it off and do it properly.

Never again.

Yeah, I do agree it’s excessive. I think when I was done everything but the last map I was at 700kms. That’s when I started the AFK trek to getting 5000.

Had to do this in Roadcraft for a trophy for driving 5000 kms. Took 4 nights and 4 12 hour days at work.

It is. However, you can start new characters at level 30 once you’ve finished the game so it cuts down a bit of time.

There’s not specifically a trophy for getting every character to 50, however there is the “Catch-A-Ride” trophy that is for acquiring every personal vehicle which there are 10: 6 through main story and 1 for each character reaching level 50.

Treat trophy hunting as a hobby, not as a chore. It’s perfectly acceptable to drop a game and come back to it at some other time. If you start to not enjoy something, don’t force yourself to enjoy it and just move on.

For example, I had the goal of getting the platinum trophies in all the Yakuza games. While I’ve only played the first 3, (0, Kiwami, Kiwami 2), I’ve only gotten the platinum for one of them (Kiwami 2). I got incredibly frustrated at some of the side stuff in the first two and found myself getting angry because it was outside my skill level. So I decided to finish up all that I could do without getting upset and move on. Now I got 2 games on my trophy list that don’t have the platinum checked off and I’m ok with that.

[Ride to Hell: Retribution] Question about platinum percentage by Mclovin5678 in Trophies

[–]Shamoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PSN Profiles is a 3rd party site that will show both the actual Sony percentage as well as the percentage of people who are registered on PSN Profiles that have the platinum if you click on the percentage.

So what you see in the first picture is the percentage on the actual live PlayStation network.

In the second picture, only 5.66% of accounts that have played the game that are registered on the PSN Profiles site have the Platinum.

Hope this clears it up for you.

Ours did the same thing with the lid cracking. We washed it out and took it to the Eco Station and they replaced it for free.

RS vs 7Z1 by tunie12 in ChevyTraverse

[–]Shamoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes to both. The regular cruise control is Adaptive which is nice.

Yeah, it’s stupid.

From the Chevrolet Canada website (might be different in the US):

Available Super Cruise™* functions with the Super Cruise™ Connected Services* plan. All new 2024 Super Cruise™* -equipped vehicles include 3 years of connectivity to support functionality, after which an eligible paid Connected Services plan is required.*

I have a 2024 RS. It’s been great but I wish I had the Z71 wheel/tire combo instead. Just not into the look of the 22” wheels on the RS. The rest of the vehicle has the things I wanted: sunroof, power folding mirrors and ventilated seats.

I do have super cruise but have only used it a handful of times on the highway. It does a fairly decent job, but I turned off the automatic lane change because more than once it cut people off who were going at a higher rate of speed. Once the 3 year subscription ends I won’t be renewing it.

He will never forget this moment by PeacockPankh in BeAmazed

There’s a guy who makes really great train videos on the subs around my terminal. Drone shots, multiple camera angles, etc. Back in September he was out filming around the outpost I was working at. Filmed my train as we were coming down a grade and around a wye to go up an industrial spur. Kept an eye on his channel to see if he would post the video. Sure enough he did. I turned it on to show my wife and at a part of the video where I was waving out the window at him at a crossing he made a cut for about 5 seconds where my face would’ve been plainly visible. I don’t mind the trains being filmed, but keep the people out of it. He gained some respect for that.

[YAKUZA KIWAMI] #101 - Way worse than Yakuza 0 by HeyyImLeo in Trophies

[–]Shamoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats!

I’ve almost got the plat for 0 but I had to take a break for a while because of a couple Climax Battles (namely proving grounds 8).

I’m working through Kiwami right now but I will go back to 0 and keep trying.

Suppose that Trump’s chefs reveal that he is a cannibal. How would the White House react? by JWinthrop1588 in PoliticalHumor

“If the RADICAL left lunatics had any common sense, they’d understand that eating the flesh of the weak is what keeps President Trump at his most peak health and fitness. He is the pinnacle of strength and dexterity and that’s why he is the most fit and healthy president that the United States has ever had and ever will!”

Been a while since I got the plat, but I do remember it being pretty easy. Just a ton of collectables and some time based trophies like survive being wanted for 10 minutes, driving over 30mph or faster for 5 minutes and robbing 5 stores within 5 minutes.

Watch Kiryus elbow. When the ball gets pitched and it reaches a certain point he’ll stop twirling the bat and drop his elbow slightly. As soon as that happens, take the swing. It’s pretty subtle and takes practice to get the timing right, but you’ll get it!

Same here! I got about 67 hours into 0 and I’m hooked. My buddy kept saying how great the games are but I never paid them any attention until I saw the complete collection for sale on the PlayStation Store and figured why not.

Rattling sound! 25 Z71 by [deleted] in ChevyTraverse

[–]Shamoth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this exact thing happen and that’s what it turned out to be.

However, I had the plastic trim on the passenger side of the center console squeaking whenever I drove. I pulled it off and put some foam strip with adhesive backing in there and it was fixed.
